I was wondering if I was the only one that noticed that. I don't understand all the hate for the daytime folks on 610. I haven't heard them much but they seem fine to me. What I'd like to see is something worth listening to once Matt & Adam go off the air. I miss Rick Ballou's show.
people need to b****. start a topic about virtually anything and someone will come in and pee on it. that's not exclusive to this message board. i'm guilty of it, too.
My main problem with the morning guys (read, Lance) is the, cough, cough and him thinking he's a stand-up comedian. The lack of an alternative as well, but that's not their fault. If you listen to the same people over and over, you're eventually going to get annoyed with them at some point. I get that way with both the Morning Crew and the afternoon guys. The difference is, when I get annoyed with Marc and/or Rich, I can turn to Charlie. Cough.
i don't hate any of them. Truthfully, the only person i cannot listen to is Dukes. All the rest are entertaining enough for me. I just happen to think Charlie & Adam are the best (for my tastes).
we don't listen to that ticket crap in htown and wouldn't if it was here. its childish mindless radio. that's why the fox sports excrapaganza didn't make it here. we have higher standards.

To the two guys with the opions that were "wrong" (is that even possible?) I don't know if you know this but, um, I kind of a 'Big Deal'. People know me. I'm very important. Having moved to NYC from Houston, I can say that even with Lance's tuberculosis, John's drunkeness, etc. ya'll don't know how good you have it. I listen to 610 over the 'net all day instead now. NY sports radio is horrendous & NY sports fans are insane and dumb. I love how people say that people up here are "true, educated sports fans." Bull****! When their teams win even one game they call in saying "we're going all the way!" The next night when they lose they demand that everyone be traded. They never take into account the opposing teams' talent. I've had Knicks fans tell me the Rockets suck when they've seen me wearing my hat to the gym. Ummmmm, hello - THE ROCKETS suck? Seriously, compared to where I am, ya'll are in sports radio paradise. Chance, do me a favor and change the 'net bumper music though. I've had my fill of clown music, erasure, and radio ads from the 60's... Mix in some K-Fed for me.
there was a sports radio station in waco who had local programming so bad it was funny. it was actually entertaining. the guys had no clue and they didn't care. they used to carry the Fabulous Sports Babe. remember her???
Ahh the ol' days w/the SportsBabe & the SportsMouth (Barry, Barry Warner..... he's got a biiiiiiiiig sportsmouth!) local station dropped her due to the Mahmoud Abdul Rauf vs National Anthem controversy why ws Barry dropped? I enjoyed his rants!
she sided w/ Abdul-Rauf's right to either not stand or turn his back (no longer remember) during the national anthem. Dan Patrick (local dude) ran the station at the time & gave her an ultimatum..... "re-think your position or bah-bye". It sucked because she was our main pipeline to national interviews (@ that time anyway).
