Odom will be a game changer for the Mavs. Still can't believe Lakers gave him up for peanuts.

    SMH. Rich get richer.

just like Boston Dallas looks OLD. Dirk is not making those impossible shots and if they don't make outside shots they will lose to anybody. They were lucky to be RED HOT at the right time.

The difference between Dallas and C's is Boston has a young star (Rondo) who can simply take over and get your team going while Dallas really doesn't.

So you think Boston is better than Dallas and Rondo is better than Dirk?

Of course Boston is better than Dallas and I do belive Rondo's impact will be bigger on the Celtics especially this year, than Dirk's on the Mavs. I do.

It's the 1st quarter of the first game of the season. After a long layoff.
I think you're reading a bit too much into it.

JVG wondering what would have been if he had Juwon against the Mavs half a decade ago

Define what you mean by "impact".

Dirk is better than Rondo. Period.

Dallas looks like a completely different team without Chandler. It's not that Miami has a 15 point lead. Even if the Mavs come back to win this game, their interior D looks awful without him.

Yes, Dirk is better. What I mean is when you take away Rondo and Dirk, Dallas would be a better team. I understand they would still have 'big 3' but without Rajon Boston is crap.

Agreed. I doubt KG or JO lasts the season and Boston will crumble even with Rondo. They were really stung when David West chose the Pacers.

Seeing Chris Bosh play reminds me again and again how happy I am we didn't gut the team for that dude. Miami should have traded him away for capspace and better role players.

They will really miss Green. They don't really have a scorer off that bench unless Bass can consistantly make those open shots.

KG is pretty bad on offense because he barely attacks the rim nowadays. His D is still there especially on pick and rolls but he has to be more agressive.
