    Sirius has NBA.

If you're in Houston, there's probably not much difference. Sirius has 3 sats that constantly fly over the US. XM's sats are geostationary and hang out close to the equator. That means that if you're driving in canyons or mountains, Sirius gives you a more direct shot while XM comes in at a more oblique angle. For that reason, I like Sirius.

I heard on the radio the other day that around 40% of Americans spend over a thousand dollars on Christmas gifts...that's kind of insane. And then apparently financial experts say you should only spend about 1.5% of your anual income..that's still nuts.

I'm not a free spender nor am I a cheapa$$...it all depends on what I can afford. This year will be a little modest for me. I still have relatively no idea what I'm getting for eveyone which is unusal. Sometimes I can come up w/ ideas months in advance.

So I'll probably be going the dvd or vid game route.

I'm going all out for Christmas this year for my wife. I've never done anything really special or nice for her for any of the big gift days, so I'm doing it this year.

Basically, you should always try to get them something that would be special to them. Not necessarily something materialistic, but something that would touch their hearts. I'm hoping all my gifts do that. :)
