@Yung-T, we now have a contender. I wish (or actually I don't) I knew the name but I just walked into my neighborhood store and this godawful **** is playing (not a standard or anything, it was some weird new crap), I say out loud to nobody in particular "this is the worst Christmas song I've ever heard" and a guy 20 feet away says "Yeah, but have you heard that Simply Christmas song yet?" We had a socially-distanced-mask-on-man-bonding moment in the beer section. Then the guy at the checkout said "I don't know what it is but I've heard it 3 times already this shift."

    No lie.

I swear there is a Christmas song worse than that out there, somewhere in the ether, but I only heard 20 or so seconds of it. I pity the workers who hear it in full regularly, that's worse torture than throwing somebody in a cell and blasting speedmetal 24 hours a day.

Houston's own Hearts of Animals, against all odds, released a "Christmas" album, but it includes a COVID-19 dance mix. LOL.

    Hey, not bad!

Who was the Rice band with the Cthulu song? I like to jam that every once in a while but now I can't find it

That's it! I went through all the dork names I could think of and all that stuck in my brain was Linus and the Peanuts. ;)

Can't believe I started this thread in 2012. Here are all my recoverable broken links from early in the thread.

And here's a new addition: Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown...

Maybe not totally a Christmas song but it does break into "White Christmas."
