I see, distract and evade, then move on to the next talking point -- and keep spreading the lie that all Kerry talks about is Vietnam. He has talked about his legislative record; he does talk about it; you know this, I know this; Of course, you don't listen to or read his speeches anyway. You and I both know that you don't give a sh-t about the 50 whatever bills he's passed, you're just being a good little partisan and are moving on to the next talking point. You don't care whether or not your handpicked president, to whom you've nailed yourself by wholeheartedly and blindly endorsing his poltiics, with particular affinitiy to the disastrous invasion of Iraq, about which your and his bets have been proven wrong, time and time again, with tragic and dangerous consequences. You're just doing your job, following the talking points, as a proud member of the RNC Basketball BBS political sideshow division. Divert and Annoy!
Man, Lying about that is terrible. Why would he make crap up like that? Kerry is a slimy slimy man. But, Bush is a terrible leader. No choices....can't we get Perot to run again? DD
Are you aerious Basso?? His 18 years in Congress is his strength--at least he has actually VOTED on bills...how many times has Cheney??
nice. still waiting for a substantive response to the original post. was kerry in cambodia? if not, why did he lie about it, not once but several times, and over a period of years. was he captured in cambodia and brainwashed by angela lansbury?
basso As soon as Jr comes clean about his lost weekend in Alabama, then you deserve an answer to your Kerry question.
You don't deserve a substantive response, and in any event I can't give you one as I've never navigated the Mekong river on a Swift Boat in the middle of a war zone before and tried to talk about it 30 years later, so I can't tell you whether or not he was in Cambodia or not as I wasn't there, nor was former Nixon operative John O'Neill, who himself likes to frequently lie as to his Vietnam record, particularly when it comes to Kerry. Look basso, your work is paying off! Keep working hard big boy!
Yes. Unfortunately, you probably needed to be in Flagstaff last night at 10:40 pm when you could have chnaged the minds of over 12,000 Kerry supporters.
so being lost in alabama is worse than being lost in cambodia? if so, then we're all lost, in america.
Interesting comments by General Franks... ____________ Stephanopoulos: Do you think Senator Kerry is qualified to be commander in chief? Franks: Absolutely. Stephanopoulos: A group of Vietnam veterans called 'Swift Boat Veterans for Truth' came out this week and they're putting out advertising saying essentially that Senator Kerry is lying about his war record and doesn't deserve the medals that he got. Do you think that kind of dialogue is appropriate in this campaign? Franks: I really work hard to stay away from hyperbole... Stephanopoulos: ...That sounds like hyperbole to you? Franks: Uh, yeah, it is. I think it is hyperbole. I think for some reason we've fallen prey to the notion that says there has to be vitriol.

wonder what franks thinks about michael moore and his prominent place at the DNC? also, franks says he will most likely vote for W.
If you want to compare what the two were doing during the time of the Viet Nam war, then Kerry's record, is definitely better than Bush's. So yes if Kerry is mistaken or lied about Cambodia, that isn't good. If Bush skipped out on National guard service requirements, that is definitely worse.
So will McCain, but this sick fascination with the SBVFT brought two ringing endorsements to Kerry that he probably wouldn't have had otherwise. The fact that they both plan on voting for W makes the statements that much more credible. Keep it up.
hey, it wasn't the swifties who brought up 'nam, it was the kerry campaign. not sure this is ultimately a winning tactic for them. also, kerry's hardball tactics against swiftvets could end up being a major distraction for the campaign. not sure they really want or need it.
2,000 people in Winslow, AZ didn't think so and they were there just to see the train pass through. Kerry saw a sign that said "Give Us 8 Minutes and We'll Give You 8 Years" and stoppped the train to give them 20 minutes. 2,000 people in Winslow, AZ to watch a train pass by... think about that. And by the way, the Swift stuff has not hurt Kerry's poll numbers but it has reinforced Bush's image as a negative campaigner, but keep looking at it that way... For the moment he had shut his ears to the remoter noises and was listening to the stuff that streamed out of the telescreen. It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grammes a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grammes a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it …. The fabulous statistics continued to pour out of the telescreen. George Orwell 1984
well, i spent 6 weeks in flagstaff and at 10:40pm there's just not that much to do. besides, the railway bisects the town. are you sure they weren't just waiting for the train to get out of the way so they could cross the tracks and get home?
