Some of you guys are really weird. They said it was a sprain and will be evaluated weekly. what else do you want to know? why the hell would the training staff hide a bad diagnosis on a team that has small aspirations? its like people like to be mad, lol.
is this a serious post? Boogie has been pretty fantastic as a starter. His defense i slight years better than the start of the season. Nwaba will be back soon and then the thicc lineups will be back.
It could be a extremely severe sprain and the Rockets would still put out that exact statement. We don't know how much time he is going to be out, it could be 2 weeks or he could be out most of the remainder of the season.
This board: "Please don't be a fracture. Please only be a sprain..." Rockets: "It's a sprain." This board: "OH GOD, WHY?! IT'S ALL OVER!"

guy has great hands, touch out to 3. Can put the ball on the court. Pretty efficient so far. Getting better on defense. I think he's about 20-25 lbs of muscle away from being a top 5 player in this league. Bold statement I know, but his biggest flaw to me is that he's too light and gets pushed around easy. If he can hit the weight room EAT and grow to around 240-250 he will dominate.
Since the Harden trade Boogie is 1 of 3 Rockets with a negative net rating. Our offense is at its 2nd worst and defense is at its 3rd worst with Cousins on the floor. About the only things he is doing positively on the floor is assisting and rebounding, but is negating it with **** defense, high turnover rate and just AWFUL scoring efficiency. Anyone expecting Boogie to hold down the fort until Wood returns will likely be pretty disappointed. Get well soon CW.
Seriously. can we hold onto our picks and continue to rebuild please? i keep hearing folks talking about contending? let's rebuild first. Gordon, Dipo, Boogie, and Wall could go down at any time. This year should be about player development and continuing to acquire assets to rebuild. If we are not extending Dipo, then our focus should be on trading Dipo and Tucker for more picks, not trading away picks to be a more competitive first or 2nd round playoff loser. Hasheem Thabeat says that trading picks to kick the tires on guys who have already washed out with other teams isn't a good strategy. And Thomas Robinson agrees that it usually doesn't work out.
I don't understand some of the panic posts I'm reading here. We're going to trade away FRPs so that we can compete for the 4-8 spot in the west? If we were contending, we'd sacrifice the short term to win now (as Morey did for the last few seasons, with pressure to get under cap from mgmt.) The opposite is the case now. Zero panic, acquire assets, wait. Don't we still have both Wooten and Caboclo under contract? If we want to try out some athletic, unpolished young bigs who can jump out of the gym, we've already got two of them. There ya go. That being said, lately when we play the smallball lineup with Tuckwagon or Tate... we're still pretty good.
