They may be waiting to see how the swelling responds to treatment to before they say anything. Maybe a few days before we get any official word. He ain't playing tomorrow for sure.
It does seem pretty lame that there is nothing out yet. Is it a tumah or something? TUMAH! TUMAH! TUMAH!
New Orleans does it every other week. come on man. We all going to forget how the NO training staff was a dumpster fire with Zion's injury? We all know Wood is going to be out. we are all waiting for how long. im not sure why everyone is so pressed over the timetable.
You are a petty little b****. LOL I actually admire that you Kobayashi Maru-ed your frail ass out of this L.
My definition would also entail sustained elite play over a longer stretch of games. Being a "superstar" means you've established yourself as one of the greats in the game that opposing teams have to focus their game plan on, and there's no chance what you're doing is a fluke. If we're talking only about 30 something games playing starter level minutes, as is the case with Wood, the box score numeric cutoffs have to be much, much higher. Which is why you almost never see people (whether we're talking media or fans) rushing to call a young player a superstar after not even a season's worth of games. But that's just me. Don't mean to be "contrarian" about it.
You are no longer the Contrarian. Your new title is b**** Puppeteer. And I say that with respect. Trump would be damn proud of your work. LOL
One guy runs space city insider scoop site(Rockets site), and he asked a Sports Medicine Physical Therapist in Houston his honest opinion of the injury. Its just a assumption i presume. 2-4 weeks. Just threw it up there.....
https://spacecityscoop.com/2021/02/05/houston-rockets-long-will-christian-wood/ How long will Christian Wood be out for the Houston Rockets? On Thursday night, fellow Rockets fan and sports medicine physical therapist Okeezie (@OkeezieSportsPT on Twitter) gave a timetable of how long Wood’s injury could keep him out of action. “Best case scenario looks like two weeks. Two to four weeks, from the look of it. Definitely a re-aggravation. But stepping on a foot like that would be pretty bad regardless. Two to four weeks is pretty normal. Might be closer to the four than two, because it’s a second injury. Ankle sprains heal pretty well, as long as you stop re-injuring them. The more sprains you have the longer it lingers. He just had bad luck today. He stepped on a foot but it wasn’t landing from a jump, which makes it worse.”
