Could it by like before... a legal "tampering" period before actual signing?
Remember when DeAndre agreed to sign with Mavs then changed his mind....

    that’s a reasonable enough explanation.

I'm ready for the "we tried" narrative, followed by a bunch of minimum signings.

Yeah probably the case. I'm not sure anymore though with the shifted schedule

What if we are purposely tampering so wood can’t sign here and “oh no we don’t have any other good targets for MLE” ?

I have no doubt we will spend some of it .

but if we don’t get our first pick I think it’s likely we break it up for a couple of players and then try to save some for the “buyout market”

I understand EG was disappointing last year (if we arent counting his 50 piece against Utah with no stars), but that was because MDA played him like a regular old spot up shooter. Personally I would love to see what Silas does with him. I think Silas unlocks EG. EG is a scorer not a shooter anymore. EG needs to get his shots up besides threes to get cooking.

Don't know how well he would be with harden and Westbrook on the team. He seems to struggle if his role isn't clear and his touches isnt consistent.

I do think he would have a great year with the warriors.

Christian Wood is the perfect player if you were going to keep Russ and Harden, and if you wanted a rematch with LAL.

For Detroit, this is going to be Christian Wood for the 16th Pick and Trevor Ariza.

For the Rockets, it is Robert Covington for Christian Wood and a 2021 1st Round Pick (Portland).

We are holding the Detroit Pick as collateral, it's about to be sent back to them.

Christian Wood sounds like something Joel Osteen wakes up with.

    This was exactly my thinking.

It sounds like something the he sadly must hide in shame. It's unnatural to have an erection when you're always being watched by the man upstairs.

He’s not a scorer either he can’t dribble and his drives to the basket typically end with his arms flailing and crying to the ref. He also struggles Playmaking for others.

    Should be traded ASAP.

I want to see Russ, Harden and EG work in a real offense, not all Iso's. Harden is the only one that can Iso. MDA forced Iso's on everyone else despite their weakness.

can't trade him without offering a first and a second like morey just did with Horford. or take on a larger contract from another guy who's overpaid like love.

maybe if we strike out on ibaka/wood/whiteside with the NTMLE then we can use the room under the tax line to take on an ego/house for love trade.

not saying its a good move. but I know rus is childhood friends with him and I'm hoping their trade requests is just to leverage the team to bring in one of their friends (or both) in ibaka and love.

i laughed to hard because he always is complaining when he attacks or he just simply misses. You are right when you say he should have been traded awhile ago. A long while ago!!
