6'10 is hardly alligator arms compared to House. And Jackson makes up for it with his hops, lateral ability and speed. Like Jimmy Butler, who also has 6'10 wingspan, effort on D makes up for the difference.

And watch another team sign Wood. It's very telling that Morey did not sign Wood for 76ers even if he coveted him last season. Instead Morey stole a better version of Wood in the 2nd round. Paul Reed actually cares about playing defense in addition to sharing same offensive skill sets. And Reed is much stronger and more physical than Wood.
I think playing professionally or being an GLeague or NBA coach does matter when the organization is devoid of anyone in the front office that has that experience.
