I say he either is extended or we trade him. Extending him ends trade talks because he’s ineligible for one year. It also doesn’t prevent a trade next year if it doesn’t work out and Harden secures the most money.

Myles Turner makes more sense to Boston with a Hayward trade. I’d happily take either Wood or Turner though. Just 2 more hours to wait. this could even possibly turn into something bigger with Harden and Gordon to Boston, Hayward to Indiana , Turner and Brown to Houston. I would be surprised if Turner doesn’t end up a Celtic though tbh.
