Christian Wood... Would you trade him? (Fit seems off)

You maybe holding your breath for that kings ransom as I don't see it. Harden era and Wood era were like ships passing in the night.

 

Probably won't get a King's ransom, so maybe a gamble that could net one. This isn't my proposal, just an example, but Wood to the Pelicans for their first rounder. Their season has been derailed by injuries already and are almost at the point of no return. If Wood buys them time for Zion and Ingram to get healthy, then they could be a playoff team. If Zion stays fat and Ingram or Wood get hurt again....we could have a very high pick. I think NO is already too far gone to gamble their first rounder.

Another option would be trade him to a contender for multiple low first rounders. Package Brooklyn's and new teams first rounders to try to squeeze into the lottery, or move up a few spaces if we are a top 5 pick.
