If Wood got the 26th pick, Gordon might get us a top-45 protected pick. Maybe.

This is a good move. Get Banchero next! Keep it up Rockets! I might get season tix again.

Not a Wood fan, but surprised at basically giving him away. Haha potentially helping Dallas.

Next goal should be swapping Wall for Westbrook for whatever we can get out of LA and then buying Westbrook out.

not going to lie, I would love see if Wood can be less soft. I want to see what that would be like even if it's on another team. Rockets always get (fringe) players that are 1-2 years away from actually putting it together. It feels to me like Wood is going to be another one.

Wood is going to put it together and we are going to be so annoyed. hopefully he crashes and burns.

Cf’s logic for hanging onto EG: “I don’t want a late first round pick” there will be better deals. He’s way more valuable.

Cf’s logic when wood gets traded for a bunch of scrubs and a late first round pick: “woohoooo a late 1st round pick”

    hahahahah

Thank you Raf. Team is immediately improved.

Christian Wood off to his 7th team. If he can’t fit with Luka, he can’t fit anywhere.

It won't feel so bad when the Rockets have a high lottery pick in next year's draft.

Exactly what will happen. Then we can bump the news they declined 1st round pick offers while cf’s kept telling everyone he is so valuable. Nottttt

I think we passed on a late first initially because we were hunting for a better deal. The last firsts will always be there. Solid posturing by Stone, imo.

Smart trade. We're drafting a big man for sure. 17th and 26th gives us maneuverability to maybe move up for someone else.

This is how rebuilds start folks. It takes some time lol. For those of you who b****ed during the Kyle Lowry led years (post-Yao, pre-Harden) and wanted to "blow it all up"...well this is what it is.

^ this is what it’s all about.

did I want one of the Hornets picks? Sure. Absolutely. But seems like the Hornets were fine sitting tight and getting a Duren or Mark Williams. And why not. I’d much prefer one of those guys too.

B trade. Better return would be an A. But addition by subtraction means can’t be less than a B.

Unpopular opinion, and I want to say I'm wrong about him, but can't stand his play style- i hope KPj is next and with Wood gone- we can be such a fun team with great ball movement and pace.
