The Mavs were so fortunate to have gotten two of our most revered legends: Chandler Parsons and Christian Wood.

Bring back the Wood Sengun pairing folks.

    Defense is for losers.

Everyone is ready to scream and triumphantly TUTT TUTT about defense winning championships when it happens.

Guess what, the 15th best defensive team in the league just hoisted the trophy and crickets are CHIRPING into the Rocky Mountain night

I would bring Wood back - he fits great with Sengun - as a 3pt shooting other big......IME is just the coach to get the best out of him.

That’s right! Sign him to a team friendly deal. By the advanced stats, he looks efficient. Then flip him next trade deadline to a team that néeds offense for a late first rounder.

I said it before.....the Rockets should bring back Wood. He gave us a lot of what we lacked last yr, size in the front court and 3pt shooting.

Silas continued to play him at center. He's NOT a center! Wood is more effective as a 3/4. When Olynyk was here, Silas played a lineup of Wood, Sengun and Olynk and I thought that was the best position for him.....Similar to Michael Porter Jr.

I don't think so, if you can get his production for a value contract and as long as you have good leadership on the bench and on the court, where he knows his role, he is a scorer......our efficiency went down without him scoring the ball this last year.

Could the Rockets become a younger version of the Nuggets quicker than we think by signing Wood???

    Sengun - younger Jokic
    Smith - younger Gordon
    Wood - MPJ
    Green - younger Murray
    KPJ - KCP

There's more than one way to build a team but copying a team who just won the NBA finals can be a good start.

You guys are incorrigible, always yearning for Wood.
Is your idiocy innate or acquired?
The guy is a no-defense, no-hustle ballhog who loves the undeserved spotlight.
    Don't you ever learn?

LOL there’s still folks advocating for a dumb loser in wood. But but he’s gonna thrive in Dallas they said. Gtfoh. Lets bring back all the losers. Westbrick, mcw, Chriss, melo, knight etc A lot of you continue to prove y’all would build a shitty ass team

Wood is a dumb loser so he'll fit in perfectly!

I am resigned to being as disappointed as possible by this squad. Half the board thinks its the right decision to continue to be awful as of they get some magic moral reward

Unless the Rockets make a big move, the only way to enjoy this team is to somehow pretend bad is good

Yeah he did when he lead this team to 20 wins. Awesome. Lets redo it again at max for 4 more years. Lets kill the summer by signing the rest of the scrubs too

Why not. Extend them all. Embrace the bad

Not for tanking sake, but so you have something to root for

Yeah you can go root for proven losers. That’s you. Don’t expect smart ones to do so though

You can root for them too.

In fact, you will probably be given no choice in the matter.
