What were the exact protections on the Detroit 1st?

I could still see him moved this offseason but I actually prefer him to adding Rose like a lot on twitter wanted.

    "sooooooo much better"?

You talking about the guy who can barely shoot 40% from the field?

updated @Vivi protections are even worse than originally thought after the initial 4 years

Was giving us 17 a game in the playoffs while checking CP3 and Lebron. Was extremely effective when getting switched onto Steph/Klay/Kevin Durant in 2018/2019.

IMO, you don't give away someone of his talents for pennies on the dollar. Fantastically useful player that usually comes to play when it matters. Can legitimately defend 3 positions and often 5. Good luck posting up that tree stump.

He is way more useful than Rose.

You can legitimately put him on Chris Paul, or Lebron James.

Lebron was looking for switches whenever EG was on him. Facts... Lebron is no dummy, EG makes you work.

EG's biggest weakness is on the boards.

We have that covered now. We need his on-ball lateral quickness and his quick trigger from deep. I don't want Tilman to deal him to save money. If you deal EG, you better bring a real playoff ready starter back, because that's what EG is.

Yeah I'm not 100% sold that Gordon last season would have been "sooooooo much better" than random people picked up from a local YMCA. He was absolute trash all season long

Here's live footage of Gobert being a super spreader causing Wood to catch COVID.

I could see Harden helping him average in the neighborhood of 20/10 fairly easily

If only we could have traded away EGo's salary instead of RoCo's to aquire cap space to sign Wood.

    RoCo and Wood = FIRE

Not giving up the picks to steal him from Pistons at trade deadline last season cost Rockets Morey/MDA if not a championship.

Rockets should have swept Thunder in playoffs, with Wood it's not even close.

Wood also gives Rockets a true big and another shooter vs. Lakers, that could have been the edge needed.

And loss of House would not have been so critical either.

    It's still a valuable pick.

Not that valuable now that these protections are confirmed

I disagree. An FRP is an FRP and based on those protections, it is likely to convey at some point. It may not be valuable at this point in time but it will be eventually.

I think Detroit will eventually get their **** together and even then, it is likely that it may convey as a high lottery pick over becoming 2 SRP. If I'm wrong, you can call me out 7 years from now :D.
