I think he’s going to kill it in Dallas next year. He looked like a budding all star playing with Harden and in that stretch right after the Harden trade where the Rox looked like they could make a run at the play-in and it all fell apart when he got hurt. I think he needs the right culture to keep him accountable and this was almost the worst situation for that.
Wish him well. Talented player but I think he just got caught trying to be the franchise player BS here. Hopefully JKidd can get him to play with some effort.
Not even my gonna b in my top 5 role player for the rockets during harden era but I wish him the best. He would have been good for us if he actually tried setting screens or playing defense. Pat bev Pablo prigioni Ariza Luc Mbah a Moute Nene Special honors capela dmo
This feels like the unofficial Christian Wood appreciation thread since the official one went so well. Sometimes things don't work out. It ran its course.
*Wanted him as a Rocket since he came out of college. *Hated the constant injuries *Loved the acquisition to go with Harden/Westbrook *Hated deliberate lousy 3-pt shooting around game 9 of regular season to force Theis to the bench. *Loved his potential for offense and defense as witnessed by the Washington game when Porzingis suckered him into playing hard and got him out of "Tank Mode" ----------- Yeah, it was a love - hate type of thing. I'm sure he will do well with the Mav*ricks
I always cheered for the dude when he was the underdog. He had some questionable decisions and it didn't turn out great for us, but I wish him luck and hope he does well. I just wish the Mavs no success. I'm sure you understand, Christian.
A very nice "open letter" to the team, ownership, and the fans. Well done. I hope we kick the Mavs, and Christian Wood, in the butt from one end of the court to the other every time we play them.
