You know he's happy to be there. Good fit on that team. Will be interesting to see.

For someone who everyone on Clutchfans says is self absorbed and selfish, that's a pretty solid farewell statement.

Even if it was written by a ghost writer, I still believed he enjoyed being part of the city

I will be watching him for another season or two yet.
He was infuriating with his selfishness and pettiness while he was here; maybe these same traits will be funny when he's on another roster.

    He didn't mention Lucas b t w, did he? ;)

I too have lasting memories…of him shying away from contact and setting screens like he was special needs.

Christian Wood initially wrote “it’s been real H-Town” with the deuces emoji, then his cousin took his phone and got to ghost writing

He's not selfish but he is self absorbed. The issue with him isn't that he's a bad guy, its that for whatever reasons, he didn't buy into a team concept last year. He's a smart guy, he may figure it out. Question is how much does he really want to win over dealing with his insecurities.

    Anyway, he's Dallas' problem now.

Hope he has a long productive career ahead of him. I know I trashed his play style and fit when this team but he seemed like a dude who went through a lot of adversity and overcame them so I respect that. And people made too many I'll founded comments about him being a "headcase" or "locker room cancer". I never really gathered that from his time here. He seemed to always support the success of the toy g guys on the team last season.

Bye Chandler! Oh, I mean Christian, Damn with these C-names going to Dallas I get confused.

Sorry, I don't wish C-Wood well he's going to one of our rivals and he didn't do the team any favors with his antics.

Good luck to him, went from out of the NBA in China, to a near 20 and 10 guy in the league.

Not a max guy but he played up to his contract for us.

Fair play. Wasn't a huge fan of his attitude but that's a classy farewell statement, can't hate on him for that. I would wish him all the best but he's playing for the Mavs so nah.

He’s so frustrating. I don’t know if he will ever put it all together, but if he does he could be so damn good. He’s not dumb. I just can’t figure the guy out at all. He needs coaching maybe as bad as anyone I’ve ever seen, and he needs to be willing to listen to it. I’m not sure if he didn’t get that here or if he just wasn’t paying attention. I like the guy and wish him the best.
