The reason Roberts was fired was because his contract was because KPRC had too many big contracts of which Roberts' was one. Interestingly enough, Craig Roberts was at my gig last Saturday along with a BUNCH of folks from channel 2 including Bill Balleza. Coincidence???
Wragge was on Entertainment Tonight before Channel 2. One would think Channel 2 is a step down from ET. Channel 2 sucks.

Who gives a rats butt about Wragge. Roberts hopefully will get the job back. I'd hate to see who they'd bring in otherwise. Steve Mark? nooooooo.
I'd like to see them bring Craig Roberts back for Sports Sunday, but his days as lead sports guy are over. Roberts has repeatedly said he has no interest in the two minutes and two seconds that local sports gets nowadays. The buzz is that they are going "outside" to find their new guy (or girl). If he wants to do it, Matt Bullard might be an interesting choice, a la Giff Nielsen.
