It will be interesting to see how Iverson and Webber play together. By the way, Kenny Thomas and Mobley will be playing together again for the Kings.

I think Webber was forced out by Peja. They have never gotten along - especially this year. When Peja asked to be traded in the off-season, thats when Petrie had to decide who to keep, Peja or Webber.

I have no idea what the Kings were thinking. Its not like this trade gives them alot of cap room since KT and C. Williamson are still under contract for several yrs. Well this is one less team the Rockets have to worry about in the playoffs this year. I just hope the Kings dont fall below us or we will have to face the Mavs in round 1.

As for the 76ers, this makes them (in my mind) the 3td best team in the east. Even with Webber, i am not sure that they are better than the Pistons or the Heat. I am sure AI is happy that he gets to finally play with a All-star caliber PF who can take some pressure off him.

How can Michael Bradley be traded so soon? He came to Sacto in the Mobley deal... Don't they have to wait longer to trade him in a multiplayer deal?

yeah this is one damn lopsided trade. WTF lol. It's like seriously a video game trade..where salaries match...but talent ...no

But who knows..maybe they didn't want to tell Webber that he was taking too many shots and that he was screwing up the offense and not doing anything on defense..so they traded him..for .........KT AND CORLISS?!?

Bibby, Mobley, Stojakovic, KT, and Miller is still a good team..but...wow lol. I guess they want to keep Peja and Bibby. Maybe CWebb wanted to go or Peja wanted him to go..but still they should have gotten a little bit more in return at least.

There is no way in the WORLD you can tell me that the Kings couldn't have gotten more for Webber. This trade completely baffles me!!!

As was said earlier -- there is hope for the Rockets dumping Mo now!

76ers get A LOT better. I'm very pleased, as they're my #2 team.

I would still prefer we play the Supersonics in the first round. I believe we have a better chance of beating them.

PS. Can Bradley be traded this soon since he came in as part of the Mobley-Christie trade?

The Kings didn't just get Kenny Thomas in this deal. They also got Las Vegas.

It was a crappy trade, but you guys are REALLY exaggerating this point

the kings will remain an excellent team. Do you want to tell me that a team with Brad Miller, Bibby, Mobely, KT, Peja, Bobby Jackson, etc. is a crappy team?

I think they will be fine, not a top 5-team talent in the West, but enough to make the playoffs for few years to come as a bottom seed. But may be again this is just a trade to get rid of webber and get someone else by making yet another trade, i am not sure.

This team without Webber did damn well in the playoffs last year. I don't honestly think they lost much. Brad Miller now is a potential 20 point scorer if he wants to.

Regardless, I am super happy for Philly, I love AI more than anyone else in the league, besides my Rockets of course. This guy has been in an unfair situation all his career, and finally gets to play with a serious big man. They won't win rings or anything, but at least will be able to compete for sometime to come.

    Good luck to AI!

Clutch, didn't skinner sign a 5 year 25 million dollar deal last summer? which would mean his contract would end after the 08-09 season.
