Hinkie comes from the home of over-hyped stats, the Houston Rockets. One rival GM called it “the continued “Moreyization’ of the league,” a slap at Houston GM Daryl Morey’s influence, with more teams using an array of stats to primarily base their decisions. Morey’s Rockets have yet to light up the league.
What people fail to acknowledge is that the Rockets have the largest scouting dept in the league. Back during the GFC when teams were cutting scouts to save money the Rockets added more to their payroll.
Honestly if Chris is doing this because Sterling is a racist...you know what would be a bigger statement Chris? "I'm taking my talents elsewhere and not working for a racist." that would be a huge statement Chris. What you're doing now is really no better than Sterling.
