Playoff injuries suck. Players and fans are robbed of the best part of the season. It's just like last year all over again.

Small guys seem to get hurt more... its part of the downside of being small.

As the NBA has evolved from a big-man/low-post era... to a fast-paced, 3-point shooting, PG dominated era... its allowed the smaller guys to not only have more success, but be counted on to be far more involved and at the center of everything... and they're much more missed now when a team has to try and win without them.

They do suck...but we've had our share.
So, I'm glad everyone shares in the misery.

Man, I keep watching the vine of this injury and I just don't get it. Maybe it would make more sense at full speed, but it looks like he broke his hand on the dude's waistband? LOL.

Sorry for Paul, but what a strange injury.

Am I the only one seeing this as a dirty play backfiring?

The whole media is talking about tragedy and "oh he got his hand caught" and "Can we get Nike/Adidas to come up with catch free jerseys?"

So I'm the bad guy? I'm the only one who doesn't immediately buy the narrative that Chris Paul "accidentally" got a grip of the guy's waistband coincidentally as the guy is jumping up for a layup?

Because that never happens right? At no time ever in the history of the NBA has a guy gripped and tugged downward on a players shorts or jersey while the player is trying to get airborn for a shot/rebound/block? And certainly Chris Paul, one of the cleanest and most honorable players in the league who never plays dirty, would do such a thing right? I mean, cause if a guy is jumping quickly up, and you are hypothetically doing a quick flicking pull downward on his shorts, you wouldn't want to risk getting a weird torque / tweak on your hand or wrist right?

Here are 2 previous videos showing 1 of Chris Paul's signature favorite things to do....yanking people down while they're airborn...

not sure where dirty play comes into this. just looks like a rare freak situation here that happened during what normally occurs over the course of a game.

Always sucks when stars get injured, never been a fan of Paul but him and Curry being out makes the playoffs less enjoyable as an NBA fan.

    Really it does.

Clippers and Warriors full health was going to be a fun series. Not sure LAC gets past the Blazers now and I was really really really Looking forward to a Griffin-Green matchup...I mean a fight. Pretty sure if these two see each other in a playoff series it's going to result in a fight.

Damn. Sounds bad for athletes. Probably equivalent to a high-level fapper like Jontro having the same injury to his dominant hand. Stabilization followed by weeks of rehab and range of motion exercises before Jontro could return to play with optimal outcomes.

How huge would a game 4 win have been?
Golden State without Curry and Clippers without Chris.

Now we're going to have to pray for another miracle. This ******* stupid team.

    This!

He used one of his hands to slap the ball, sneaked the other one to hold/push the offensive player. It backfired!

You cannot get away with the dirty plays all the time, it eventually will backfire, as it did last night.
