There is a Harden's stats thread, guess we'll need one for Chris Paul as well.

Several neat stats I know as of now:

1.Chris Paul leads the league in games with 10+ assists & 2+ steals, he has 5, second is Harden and Westbrook, each has 4.

2.Chris Paul just got the 10th game in his career with 14+ assists and 0 turnover, 3rd most all time behind Stockton and Magic.

    3. Chris Paul just passed MJ as the all time leader in Win Share Per 48 Minutes in regular season.

    4. He is the all time leader in offensive rating, but he has been there for a while.

I believe Paul was already the leader in #3 this offseason. Realistically he will not end his career that way though. Perhaps 7-8 though.

Ok I'll just put it out here, cause i cant find the tweet
Chris Paul, since returning from the injury with 65 Assist and 7 Turnovers.
Probably a record of some sort.

Since 2000 Chris Paul's 2017-18 assist to turnover ratio is the best in a season

That probably won't hold up forever, CP3 will decline and that will drag down the WS/48, but DAYUM.

    Is CP3 the GOAT??

No he is at 0.2507 after last game, MJ is 0.2505. There has been a little back and forth between him and MJ for the 1st and 2nd place, he did pass MJ at the beginning of last season when Clippers were playing great, but dropped back to 2nd after a losing streak in the middle of the season.

His late career will definitely drag him down to about 5th or worse, but he is the only active player to ever reach 1st in WS/48 ranking all time, that's already very impressive.

Perhaps (obviously) Harden is helping Paul as much as he is helping Harden be more efficient.

Is it me or has Harden been playing even better since Paul came back?

    thats right

last year the only way for defenses to stop harden is to double, triple, or quadruple team, foul him, or simply hope he gets tired or worn out

with CP3 now, teams can't afford to send more than one defender to guard him.. so he'll eat that lone defender up everytime.. and he doesn't get tired or worn out because his minutes are down and he's not the primary playmaker 100% of the time.. so he's more efficient - better FG% and hopefully less turnovers

    same with CP3

its called "playing with another elite playmaker like yourself" effect

I thought it was called the "double cheese burger is better than two cheese burgers because then I can buy fries and a drink effect".

Paul isn't shooting the ball wel and the Rockets are still blowing teams out. When he starts playing at his usual level this team can win a championship, if they stay healthy.

EG's 3p% is awful as well, 7 for 51 in the past 5 games he played, 31% for the season.

Stats shows that his C&S 3P% is really bad this season, 28.2% thus far, compared to Trevor's 37.6%, Ryno's 42.6%, even Luc and PJ Tucker are better than him percentage-wise.

Chris Paul's assist to turnover ratio is currently a crazy 9.3

Posted this in the Harden thread:

Harden when Chris Paul was injured

    36.3 mpg / 31.0 ppg / .444 FG% / 38.5 3P%

    Harden since Chris Paul's return

    34.9 mpg / 34.4 ppg / .495 FG% / .464 3P%

It's not just James. Ryan, Trevor, PJ, and Luc are all shooting way better as well.

CP3 on the Rockets with Harden won't work.
    Oh wait, what?
