you can disagree all you want but he spent the whole summer in the gym basically bc of how the season ended a few months ago. He puts an emphasis on taking care of his body as much as he can. you can be in shape all you want. you're just more prone to injury as you get older. that's just a fact. this is like the same logic that says harden is fat blah blah blah
No it's not the same logic at all. Harden is not fat. He just doesn't show up in elite shape sometimes. Neither did Hakeem at times. Paul can spend all the time he likes in the gym, being in elite shape is about more than taking mid range jumpers in pick up games. Whatever it takes, he has the money and the time off to be in elite shape and he wasn't in it. If he's in the gym all the time and showing up like that, he needs a better trainer. He showed up bigger, slower, and with a worse shooting stroke. What's he doing in the gym? We paid a f*ckload of money for that.
and you're assuming its just pick ups. he is more than willing to post what he does daily and over the summer it's wasn't just those pick up games you saw on youtube. again same logic. you definitely sound like it #hardenisfat
I gotta wonder about those hammies. I have tight leg muscles and have to constantly stretch them, but I'm not an NBA caliber athlete, either. Maybe instead of an Achilles heel he has Achilles hamstrings. I don't know if or what he can do to improve their elasticity, though; they's getting tiresome for us fans.
Stop making excuses. Everyone posts videos in the summer. If it's all true, why did he show up in worse fitness with worse game sharpness? Silly excuse that does not meet the standards of a player making $30m+. Harden realized he's not in shape, and now he is, and he's in poll position for repeat MVP. If Paul was at least playing well I would give 0 f*cks. But he's neither playing well nor in the best shape of his career. These are things he can control.
nobody's making excuses. I've posted everything that's true. you're just being some dramatic little girl based on what? you're own little eye test? yeah sorry that doesn't really warrant much
It's a common sports problem. Most people with chronic hamstring issues never get over them. All they can do is the best preventative work possible. Frankly I don't mind the injuries, but for the money we're paying him (and his absolutely necessary expensive backup guard) I expect him to be in better shape than 99% of NBA players given his injury problems.
You've not posted any truths, just defensive statements about a guy making $30m+ showing up out of shape and unmotivated, posting some of the worst numbers of his career. You can throw personal attacks at will, these things are still true about Paul.
guess you have trouble reading then. all you've got is your dramatic opinion takes. nothing truthful about it #hardenisfat
Why are you acting like it's 1960 when you know full well I can post 2 videos of him and everyone will be able to tell the weight he put on? Just silly. You need to stop drinking.
its amazing how a random behind a keyboard wants to act like they know exactly what a pro athlete's fitness is. Actually hilarious. what you need to do is stop kidding yourself while you're at it send it to cp3 himself. and let us know what he thinks. preciate it
all i got from this is #hardenisfat while you're at it send it to cp3 himself. and let us know what he thinks. preciate it
I didn't realize at $30m we have to make up arguments for Paul too. Maybe Clark should have bought him a Merc so we could some day stop owing him for coming here.
Can money buy everything, good health too? Chris Paul was never a gym rat, at least no reports of sorts. Habits do not change like that. 40 millions a year dun change that. Not everyone can be Lebron who gets injured too.
