i'd welcome any link to any nba player sitting out 5 weeks from a knee bump. i want to have egg on my face with your next reply, just to give this bizzare situation some more clarity

 

My point is you cannot compare your knee bump to another person's knee bump. Just because one person reacts to an injury a particular way doesn't mean another will.

 

Here's 4 weeks for a player 10 years younger and with no prior knee issues:

it obviously depends on the severity of the knee bruise...

you hitting somebody’s knee playing ball didn’t give u a knee bruise unless u forgot to mention the part where you experienced swelling and bruising afterwards...

as for players missing a lot of time for a knee bruise, there are a few examples...here’s 1 of them

“Utah Jazz power forward/center Derrick Favors will play Wednesday night after missing the previous 12 games due to a bone bruise in his left knee, league sources told ESPN.”

 

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he has a torn mcl

Am I missing something? The original timeline was 2-4 weeks, he says he's progressing and will be re-evaluated next week. Where is the "now out 6 weeks" / "it's getting worse" / "they are obviously lying" stuff coming from?

 

please get well CP3, we need you for playoff, you can sit the entire regular season, i don't care, we just have to get into the playoffs and that's when it counts

 

thanks, i guess it's not that unusual then. they need to fit CP3 up with full body armour going forward though

A couple of pages back. Looking back at it, the poster said Jalen Rose said 6 weeks yesterday. Not sure why he would have that info?

 

ok i see it now, post #208. i wouldn't be surprised, based on how the front office has reported injury timelines in previous years. and if it is 6 weeks, i doubt we can still get the 2nd or 3rd seeds, and we could even drop to 5th. pringles is already running the starters heavy minutes.
