I'm not actually, reading is a skill. Check again what I said and I think I've said enough, it's a waste of time talking to conclusion jumpers and judgmental people.
OP forgot the X factor ,3 point sniper, team leader, chief recruiter and honestly the dude that keeps Cp3 and Harden running BOBBBY BROWNNNNNNNNNN
Nobody would be talking about Steph curry had MDA given Bobby more play time. I have never seen him missing a single shot in any video.
LOL what you said was pretty straighforward You tallk about judgemental people while judging the the rockets for losing to a team they had no chance of beating
I can only say for myslef that I'm just super courious to see how these guys will work together but keeping a healthy skepticism. It can be the best of times, it ould be the worst of times. Frankly my dear, GS will win it all, so its hard to give a damn.
Great thread. We've all become so Melo-focused that we've forgotten the fact that we've gotten MUCH better already. Even if we somehow fail to land Carmelo, we should be better poised to make more noise this year. If nothing else, it'll be nice to see another superstar on the court during those games where Harden inexplicably takes the night off.
yeah in today's league of teams having 2 to 4 superstars and superstars resting for 10 games Harden should tremendously benefit from this and not running out of gas
Advanced stats put CP3 as the greatest PG ever. Problem has been his lack of playoff success and his lack of durability. Though I wouldn't go as far as saying he makes Stockton look like a scrub. Stockton is still right there as #2 pg all time when considering every advanced stat. Only thing Cp3 has on him is scoring, and that's only because he shoots more than Stockton.
This. You add a sure fire HOF PG in his prime and because of GS all we can think is meh not enough we must have Melo too.
No kidding. The two played great together, and the Rockets were damned near unanimous picks by the media to become the next great dynasty. When was the last time the media proclaimed the Rockets as "the future of the NBA?" How long has it been since the media genuinely freaked out over the potential of the Rockets? Those two future Hall of Famers were the last time. Sure, we've had our exciting moments since, according to the media, but even when we won the two championships, they didn't view the Rockets like they were viewed in 1985-86. The quick collapse of that team after the '86 Finals due to cocaine and injuries to Sampson stunned everyone. The media, the fans, and it sure as hell stunned me. Oh, what could have been!
I'm with you Godfather....totally taken for granted..almost an afterthought in the pursuit of Melo...The next move to Melo and mate has, for now, overshadowed CP3. This is a top 3 all time PG with tread on the tire....Just look at the highlights of those guys playing together . Even though it's a pick up game... Surreal as all get out...
Great post Deck! Not taking anything away from our titles, but I've always believed those teams from the eighties were much better. Lots of folks don't realize that only twice during the eighties did a team other than the Lakers make it out of the West..only to have to face the other great dynasty. The League was better back then. The team that coke blew apart was not only OUR greatest IMO, but one of the best ever.
