http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/...angeles-clippers-factor-impending-free-agency Chris Broussard reports.
When Donald Sterling was asked if CP3 had to do with the decision to fire Del Negro, he said that he does not want to lie so he won't say anything. Then Vinny Del Negro went on a tour of interviews basically saying that he was fired because of CP3. Truth is, CP3 probably did get him fired. He can't blame the Clippers for what Vinny Del Negro says to the press...he guy just got released from the team. Of course none of this could be true and these sources are really screwing with all of the superstar free agents reputations.

Great news for the Hawks. They have the cap room to sign Dwight+CP straight up and a third star in Al Horford. Also run by Danny Ferry, who comes from the Spurs, where they are known for doing things the right way.
This tweeting journalism of common knowledge and ESPN turning rumours and gossip into 'real' articles is really something..
IC, thx. So basically it's Sterling's silence and that's it. Well......um......McHale's gonna be fired for a black coach?
Lol, no one is going to Atlanta. Stop putting their names in these FA convo's. Ofcourse cp got vdn fired. He just doesn't want it leaked and sterling is sad he'll have to hire an actual negro, not a fake white one.
Yup, this is exactly what we need, more suitors on the markets for CP3, and drain out the hopes for Clippers. When they are out of hope resigning, they are forced to S&T him, where Rockets can present the best package.
This is like at the club when you are talking to a chick and then another chick who is hotter hits on you so you obviously go with her, the chick you were talking to gets mad and walks away and then the hot chick leaves you after 5 minutes, leaving you by yourself.
I have a hard time believing that Chris Paul didn't strongly imply he wants Vinny Del Negro fired. Given how it is strongly implied before (and he half acknowledge) that most Clipper personnel move post his arrival were consented by him, or even actively pursued by him. It has been brought up around that, if you cover up their names, Chris Paul has done almost exactly the same things as Dwight Howard have, gotten coachs fired, forced his way out of a smaller market team, and generally fueding with teammates and FOs. but of course, he's loved because he has post season succes.... oh wait, it's Dwight that actually carried a one man team to the finals.
As for the Hawks, yes it's usually a joke that they're in play, but in the case of Paul and Dwight there is a non-zero chance since both are from the region. and they have some decent pieces anyway. As for the Rockets, if he's taking calls you obviously try, but at the end of the day, I doubt it. more so than I doubt Dwight . because with Dwight you never know, he's something of an air head. with Paul... he's a bit more predictable.
