Yeah, a few more had shown up for that one, so the applause was a bit better. CP3 deserves some love.

Best small guard is between cp3 and Isiah Thomas.

Dennis Schröder outplayed him this game on his own team.

That was a great tribute and while I still like the trade and didn't like CP3 that much because of his whining and antics, he has the right mentality and seems like a really great dude. It's a shame he got injured and couldn't give us what we needed. He looks good now, but last year he just didn't give us everything by the end of that Warriors series, partially maybe because Harden didn't trust him anymore cause he couldn't deliver. Westbrook gives us that edge that CP3 mentioned, which hopefully can put us over the top.

One thing about his departure: Harden definitely blew that relationship. I think it's hard to get close to James and really nobody can make him do anything. I can see Harden being a goofy odd-ball that just never quite clicked with CP3. That when CP3 says those things like set a screen, we need to get after that and stuff like that in the locker room, that Harden doesn't really pay attention to it. That's my impression. That he's like "yeah I know, you don't need to say it," but CP3 will keep harping on doing every little thing to win. I could see that not working on Harden and it's belittling to him.

Glad Houston fans gave him a standing ovation even if that crowd was just pathetic in terms of numbers haha!

facts, and u really hate to see it

I don’t think it will ever change...we have the home atmosphere of a 35 win team with no star every year...doesn’t matter if we’re contenders or anything

only time it’s not an absolute joke is during games towards the end of the 2nd round of the playoffs or WCF...even during the 65 win season TC was trash until game 5 against Utah and then was honestly very respectable against GS (game 5 of the WCF was a top 3 TC crowd since the Hakeem days easily...I’ve rewatched that game so many times)

when CP hit that ridiculous three off the dribble as the shot clock expired and then shimmied on Curry, Harden’s steal and dunk late in the 4th, EG’s clutch 3...that game gives me goosebumps...if there’s any game I regret not going to in the last 20 years, it’s that one...I had decided that I would go to at least 2 home finals games instead :(
