I hear Rockets fans are planning to stiff Paul by leaving acres of empty lower bowl seats. Sad and embarrassing.
mm, chris paul in his prime versus john stockton in his prime ... most would say cp3 had way higher of a ceiling. Stockton is more consistent and less injury-prone because his game didnt have the dynamics cp3's did. also, he did make the key turnover pass that sealed jordan's final ring. all HOF pgs make mistakes.
Give some props to Chris, he choosed to come here after we got snubbed by stars over and over for years, and when he could've joined other teams like the Spurs or stay in L.A.
Nah, Chris was good here but never anything I’d call special. He just wasn’t. He missed more than a third of the season both years he was here, never played more than 58 games, never won a championship, never even won a Western Conference title, wasn’t ever an all-star, his legacy just isn’t all that in terms of what he did with Houston. Great player, hall of fame player, just not for what he did when he was with the Rockets. It’s not like we’re going to retire his jersey anytime soon. The guy is an all-time NBA great and a very good former Rocket. That’s it. I’m glad he’s gone and that contract is a burden for another organization now.
Yea it was, you are objectively wrong. 65 win season amazing playoff run and moments, taking the GOAT team to 7(and would have beaten them, had he not gotten injured). Yea you are all kinds of wrong. He was a special player here. We probably arent gonna retire his jersey, but he will without a doubt be remembered here.
thats funny. for a player that put it all out there to get this team pass a historic team that everyone else was afraid of. if you think you'll see a performance like that again good luck. that 17 team was probably the best rockets team youll see ever in this harden era and was the best one since the ship days.
