There is a core group-think in this young team that calls out individuals for lack of effort. That’s exciting to me since there’s really no veteran with a resume that can demand the conch. Has a culture club formed?
Right? The GARM has gotten super ah.. opinionated over the last couple days. Silas probably isnt the long term. Neither is Wood. But the small dick energy on the board is pretty embarrassing. This team will look completely different next year, like this team does from last year and the year before that. Its a rebuild, i dont get throwing assests away when theyre at their lowest. Why would they do anything like that right now? To appease the guys on here and twitter demanding blood? I like being a part of this group but its been suffocating the last couple days. Be optimistic. Be kind. Its not that hard.
I didn't read the article. Did he mention that Porter was dumped by Cleveland because of exactly the same kind of behavior and the Rockets got him for nothing and hoped they could turn him around? The headline sounded like the organization dared not offend Porter because he's some kind of star player. That's far from the truth. Everybody here knows what his issues are. It's a matter of what you think is the best way to help him mature. I have no opinion on that and have little faith on the kid. But anyone who pretends that it's an easy task and thinks he knows better than the Rockets coaching staff on how to deal with the kid is kidding himself.
Hey guys, recognizing a pattern of behavior in players and wanting your favorite sports team to move on to higher IQ players is "small dick energy". Is critiquing Tilman fertitta small dick energy too? Is embracing stupidity and sitting on your hands at signs of conflict big dick? Do tell. I was optimistic when we cut Danuel House! Another low IQ player. If you want a big dick sports team it starts with building a rigorous culture from the top down and the bottom up.
Imagine being paid to analyze basketball… And then calling for a player to be cut… And then the next day he has an epic game winning shot
Terrible article. Poor writing. Total lack of insight. He doesn't know anything about the particulars of the situation he was writing about, the Rockets in general, and the specifics of the Rocket's rebuilding efforts. It's just a clickbait rant. Honestly, all journalists that write these kinds of things should be unemployed. It's an infection that is most common in sports and political journalism... so much bad stuff out there. I just happened to read the thread, but my advice is to find the good journalists and read only them. Try to make sure these guys can't earn a living.
Funny. Rockets were in the fight of their life against the greatest basketball team ever assembled when he inherited the team. Shame he was a beta b*tch who had no fight in him then. All talk this clown is. Rockets will never be successful with this family.
