He will get his big contract. I guarantee it.

    Sincerely,

    Stephen Jackson and Bonzi Wells.

5 year 50 mil is a more than fair offer for Kaman. He is well more than an MLE player however, but in free agency I don't think he could get more than 50 mil.

But then again Ben Wallace got 60 mil over 4, Nene got 60 over 6, Damp got 73mil over 7, Foyle got 51 over 6, Chandler got 64 over 6, Z got 55 mil over 5, Dalemburt got 58 over 6, Miller got 67 over 6, and Boozer got 70 over 6. Maybe Kaman could get 60+ mil offered from someone.

Yes I think the big lesson here is Yao Ming is a steal at the maximum allowable contract.

No kidding! And it illustrates the value of big men, whether Kaman gets what he wants, or not. They've always been highly paid in this league, and far too frequently way beyond their value. It's amazing how few good ones there are.

    And we have the best.

You didnt watch the Clippers much last year, Kaman can finish with either hands and has a soft touch around the rim. Hes skilled enough to play in a fast pace or halfcourt game. He was solid in the playoffs, especially considering it was his first year, He shot 63% against the Suns.

Hes worth 10 million a year, but if the difference between keeping him is only 1 million then they should get it done. Kaman is a top 10 center in this league..

alot of Power Fowards in there [3,5,6]
    Brad Miller - decent
    Z-man - bad feet
Zo - older with Kidney issue
    Ben Wallace -offensive liability
Okur - ok I have not seen or heard enough about him to care

    Kaman is not Lou Alcinder
but he is a Good *young* Center
    He has UPSIDE *grinsnicker*

i hope Chris Kaman looks at what just happened to Robert Swift as a cautionary tale. There are too much uncertain events which can take place in a NBA career to be haggling over a few millions. Take the money stupid

Hmm, another big man that will command huge dollars. Another reason why I refuse to believe Stromile had negative trade value. Yes, I know he isn't a center, but every year I see so/so big men get huge contracts.

Bad decision for the Clips. Kaman just isn't worth it. They should have waited until next summer to deal with him.
