Yeah, that says what I'm saying, that the Lakers could get 66 mil of cap space which would be enough for 2 superstars in their fantasy scenario it was Paul Geoge and Lebron.....that gives them 2 superstars with no cap room left. If they wanted 3, they'd have to all take 10-15 mil less in order to split that 66 mil between the 3 of them.

The team that they'd have after picking up Paul George and Lebron likely wouldn't be good enough to get past the Rockets OR Warriors, so it would get them back into the playoffs, but not into the finals.

66 mil in cap room. So let's just say u just sign lbj n Pg13. The player u would have left afterwards Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart. U telling me that ain't better then what the rockets have right now. Then what if a guy like Jordan for a discount get there. That's pretty good team no

No, probably not. I get that you are doing your best to dream up a fantasy scenario where the Lakers are a championship contender again, but it's just not very likely. It's so much easier for Lebron to just opt in and get traded to Houston to create a vastly superior team to what he'd have in LA under the most ridiculous fantasy scenario.

Yes just them 2.. I comment on this in another reply to you. Even with them.2 n the returning roster I think they better then us. With a few minor tweaks. Which u know ring chaser would die to have a shot at a ring n be in l.a.

What would.the Cavs get in return doh. They wouldn't take on Anderson no matter what. N salary would have to match then. Walk me through this scenario

I don't, and even if they get past the Rockets, they'd have to get past the Warriors too....every year. I know you personally think that LA is some magical place where all NBA players want to go, but the last 20 years disagrees with that narrative. Lebron can all but ensure the next 2 or 3 years he wins championships in Houston and it would be really easy to make that happen. Weigh that against potentially being a failure in LA just like he was a failure in Cleveland this year.

DeAndre Jordan is going to turn down $24 million to play for the minimum?

LeBron, George, Ball, Ingram, Kuzma and Hart is a good foundation. But yes, I'm telling you that team isn't going to come close to winning 65 games in the West next season.

If Lebron leaves Cleveland is in tanking mode. They'd get their choice of holding on to guys like Gordon and Anderson or they could get the expiring deals and picks that teams give for them. Either way, that's a win vs getting nothing at all. You make the deal a 3 or 4 team deal flipping Anderson to a tanking team in exchange for Rockets picks and get back expiring or non guaranteed deals to flip to the Cavs, you flip Gordon to a different team for draft picks and either players the Cavs want or expiring contracts.

The Rockets get Lebron, the Cavs get set up with picks and prepare to tank while having a fire sale to get them under the luxury. It's win/win.

LeBron needs a team where he can play fewer minutes.
I guess he punched that whiteboard coz he wanted to win a championship.
LBJ going to the Lakers would be like this year's OKC, but for a much more self-satisfied fan base.

Honestly I don't think the warriors are unbeatable. Rockets should of won. All u need is enough guys where curry can't hide. N attack them n switch. Which with lbj George n Ingram. That's some length. But low key warriors are already preparing for this I think. They have to lengthy young guys they gonna play more next year. Time will tell. When miss out on a year where their roster wasn't constructed very well after their starters I don't think they make the same mistake next year

Sounds like a good reason for Lebron to come to Houston and ensure the Warriors get crushed. I agree that with the current Rockets, it's a VERY close matchup with the Warriors, if the Rockets add Lebron, it won't be close at all.

I'm not saying min. But Jordan has made alot of money n his career. Winning a chip would be worth a pay cut if it was me.

If they have 66 mil to spend, and they spend 65 of it on Lebron and Paul George, how much could they possibly give DAJ?

Ball is a zero on offense. Would actually probably be pretty embarrassing to see how bad the warriors d bottles him up. He is a decent player but nowhere near the player that the LA hype makes him out to be.

Kuzma plays NO D...that is an absolute negative against the warriors. AND he ain't offsetting any of their stars on offense enough to justify staying on the court for offensive reasons.

Rockets would torch that team imo. Save for a game or 2 of lebron going off.

People have so easily forgotten how dominant we are with capela, harden, and CP3. Not even the warriors could beat us more than they lost to us. CP3 going down was just unfortunate.

I could see that. But isn't Anderson not expiring until 2 years. So they would have to hold on to him for next year. So that doesn't quite help them.

That's also a good point, if Lebron was coming to Houston it would be to form a team with 4 star or above caliber players, he can't realistically get that anywhere else. Lebron, Harden, CP3, and Capela would just bowl over the rest of the league with sheer talent.

The Jordan massive paycut theories just won’t die.

I’m not sure who to blame but I wish it would go away.

Are you a Lakers fan? Because this is one of the dumbest things I've read on here. When and why is DeAndre Jordan going to take a discount to go there? Not this upcoming season he's not and no Ball, Ingram, Kuzma and Hart ISN'T better than what the Rockets have right now, its not even close. This team did not even make the playoffs.

    Wow. Just wow.
