We dont' get the pick but we get the rights to the following year's pick. That postponed pick should be unprotected but I don't know how it will work if the 2011 pick gets protected.

I was just about to say that Ariza actually is a good role player. He's been forced into a go-to scorer's role when he's never been suited to be one. I look for Ariza to be much more efficient going forward and happier in general. Some on this board will continue to say that he sucks for not pulling down 20ppg, but he was never really expected to contribute that given his salary.
We all saw what Ariza could do if he just settled down and didn't try to do too much (the last two game against Utah and Milwaukee).
Hopefully we will be #3 after the census comes in... Chicago is dump, corruption, high city taxes (10%), 500 mill in the red, no jobs and the obama backlash...
