Well, i'm not really of the opinion that we have a snowball's chance of acquiring CP3, but otherwise I agree with what you're saying.
Great post. Just look at the Raptors' record year after year. Others say trade Scola for Bosh? A GM in his right mind would not do that.
There isn't a snowball's chance of McGrady being here next year so I don't have a problem with how the Rockets are handling it. He pee peed in his bed last season and now has to sleep in it. If/when he plays, it will be on the Rockets terms and not his. Then the Rockets can either trade him or cut ties after the season. Long term, the Rockets need a player with a similar skillset to McGrady's.
My God. Let's hope Colangelo thinks so and then is shocked that he is able to get Scola for Bosh. Funny. I don't think you could find a single GM that wouldn't trade Scola for Bosh in a hot second.
I agree. I loooove having Luis, and his tenacity/heart on this team, but for someone like Bosh you have to do it. It's still a star-driven league, and Bosh is one. Role players, even VERY good ones like Luis will only get you so far. So I would roll the dice, especially since Luis will be getting a well-deserved salary increase himself next year. Paul-AB is even more of a no-brainer. There are a few considerations to look at with Bosh though. For one he has a kinda passive on-court demeanor like Yao. What was that JVG said, surround Yao with Pit Bulls. Also I seem to remember Bosh saying something to the effect that he didn't really want to be the one taking the last shot at the end of games, and with Yao being succeptible to the hard double team turnover who takes it at the end? Plus I'm not sure how good CB4 is at passing, a must in Adelman's offense. Could you point me to where this rumor is please? (thanks in advance) Been searching the Garm, and haven't been able to find it.
