    Do tell..

    Last year Bosh was:

    9th in PPG at 24.0
    6th in RPG at 10.8
7th in FT Attempts with 590 (pair that with Yao and Martin  )
    8th in FT's made (80%)
    4th in PER

Those are rankings are for every position, not jsut PF's. So basically he scores with the guards and he rebounds with the centers. Is he a lock down post defender? No, but he's quick. And neither are Scola or Hill.

So, what does he need to do to become an elite player?

The window for a championship with yao is closing, fast. We know he's not going to be 100% off the bat. So who would all you anti-bosh guys want morey to try and bring in? A lot of people bash on yao for his injuries but don't want bosh. Who else can come in and take us to 50 wins and the playoffs? And I'm asking, because we all know we can't bet the house on the hope Yao can finally stay healthy for a championship run.

    I'm just sayin...

If we were to get Bosh but were to somehow keep Scola, what could the minute distribution look like? Can Bosh play some minutes at C?

    C: Yao (28), Bosh (12), Scola (8)
    PF: Bosh (28), Scola (20)

Could it be something like this?

This is what I am hoping for. If we can keep Scola and have Bosh, that would greatly reduce the pressure of our back up C holes and will give Yao a good amount of rest through out games.

Bosh will play most of the backup center minutes. Very few centers in the league now are low post threats, so we can get away with Bosh in most games. Will probably need to bring in a Big man for the rare games where we do need a real center, but most of the time Yao/Bosh will get it done.

Bosh is going to want at least 35+ he already stated he doesn't want to play second fiddle to anyone.

Give the guy the minutes if he was on our team he'd be the best player on the court.

A 7-foot center and a PF/C for additional insurance. Given Yao's injury history, we have to assume he will not able to finish the season.

You're giving Bosh 40 a game? He only plays 36 now.

    C: Yao (28), Bosh (12), New Backup defensive C/Scola (8)
    PF: Bosh (24), Scola (24)

Most nights Scola will get 28-32 minutes, unless they have a big low post presence he can't defend. Then whoever our new backup C we get with the MLE or draft will take those minutes against that player when yao is not on the court.

Earlier in the year I would expect Bosh, Scola, and the FA/draft C to be logging more than a combined 20 minutes a night at C. Scola and Bosh will both be getting 36+ for a while until Yao is able to give us that much.

Yeah, he played 36 on a scrub team.

40 a game is too much; even 36 is too much.

With the people on Toronto, he plays 36.

With the people on our team, he shouldn't play more than 35.

That TOR team relied on Bosh to be primary scorer and primary rebounder. Yao scores and rebounds. Martin scores. Brooks scores.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bosh's numbers drop, should he ever play with us.

^ *shouldn't NEED to play more than 35.

My mistake for not putting that the first time, and my mistake for a double post.

I think that Yao/Scola/Hill/Hayes or Jeffries is a pretty damn good big man rotation, and I'd rather we upgrade at SF (Joe Johnson?).

Having said that, though, I have to say that Chris Bosh is a franchise player.

We'll see what the Rox actually do, but apparently DM is not taking my advice.

    How about Bosh/Scola vs Scola/Hill

    Pretty easy winner to me.

Bosh is better than both of them ever will be. Anyway, it would be Bosh/Scola or Bosh/Hill.

First, let me just say you're adding to that infestation.
Second, how are the chances of Bosh landing in Houston "extremely unlikely?" We have the flexibility, assets, team, and management to pull off a trade for Bosh.
Lasty, when are people going to stop comparing one player to two?
If Bosh comes here it will be Bosh/Scola, Bosh/Hill, Bosh/Draft Pick. Sounds a lot better than Scola/Hill to me.

Bosh will get 35+, Yao 25-30, Scola 25-30. Bosh can play at the C while Scola is in, for sure.

If we do get the great dragon Bosh...

I hope the deal looks like this (Hill would obviously be in the place of Landry). Letting them have Ariza, I am all go there.

    http://www.examiner.com/x-1154-Hous...Chris-Bosh-to-the-Rockets-It-could-happen-but

I'd probably like the deal, even more if we are able to keep our draft pick.

Could you imagine keeping Scola/Hayes, while getting Bosh and having a chance at Whiteside, Udoh, or Aldrich.

This should sums it up for every posts has been created for the last month or so.

How much could we get for Bosh? Scola +filters? possible, but Morey is too good to fall for that trap. Hill plus some for Bosh? sure why not.

To me, I think Raptors would rather get young talents and picks then getting experienced "older" player like scola. Losing Bosh means rebuilding and scola shouldn't be in their plans.

i'd rather have Scola and hill (and $) than Bosh.... Bosh is an injury risk and is not that athletic or physical(e.g. Amare, Nene or Boozer)
