WTF you're knocking him for "ONLY" being to the finals once? We've only been out of the FIRST ROUND once since the Hakeem era.

Think about that. My God, it's OBTUSE to criticize Dirk's playoff success. He's been to the WCF/Finals more times than our ENTIRE starting lineup COMBINED WITH Chris Bosh. For that reason alone you CAN'T put him in the same sentence as T-Mac. He's had more postseason success than 90% of the league.

Dirk doesn't "only" have a jumpshot. He is one of the GOAT players in the midpost. Of course, when you've no idea what you're talking about and are speculating purely on reputation, you'd believe that myth to be true.

You're arguing that he isn't effective in the playoffs? Dirk just put up 26.7/8.2/3 on .547/.541/.952. Do you understand how insane that is? His TS was .643 - and he did it against the vaunted Spurs defense. To put that in perspective, Shaq (one of the most efficient players of all-time) has never had a TS that high in the playoffs.

Dirk is a SOLID defender now. He isn't great, but he sure as hell doesn't suck like he used to. Go find an example of him getting lit up in recent years - it doesn't exist. So please, instead of regurgitating factually invalid "truths" go and actually watch the player.

Bosh for sure. Dirk is nearing the end of his career. Plush he's older than bosh.

We also have not had the same talent and a HEALTHY Team as Dirk...

I give Cuban a lot of credit for trying to buy a championship and doing what ever ti takes to win one.. In the last 5 to 7 years Dallas has made many changes from players to coaches and the one thing that has not changed is Dirk...

Dirk is a 7'0 SG at best and not someone who can lead you to a championship.. Just because someone can put up points does not make them the GOAT... Hell Bernard King put up crazy numbers night in and night out... Dominque Wilkins put up crazy numbers and also had a lot of talent and Look at how many championships both of them have.... Basketball is a team sport..

A leader will find away to win and how to get his teammates involved... That person is not Dirk...

Not going to even comment on your Dirk and Great Defense... that tells me you have no ideal about Dallas and watch them only when they Houston... Well i'm down here so I watch a number of games when the Rockets are not playing... So I see the NO DEFENSE that Dirk is playing...

Now the deal every year on the talk radio is how the Mavericks will not win a Championship with Dirk leading them and it's true...

So for your stats... Go to Basketball Reference and look at the shot differentual between Dirk and the rest of the team...

Now as I stated before I really don't prefer Bosh and I dang sure don't want Dirk.....
