I think Morey had to know Bosh wasn't totally in yet. The Lin move, which is the only official one to this point, he would have done Bosh, or no Bosh.
+1 There's no way we do these trades unless we have a commitment from Bosh. Same way Cleveland started dumping space after Gilbert and Bron Bron had their kiss and makeup session earlier this week. Bosh can die in a fire. (or, you know, never win another game)
We need to take the Detroit pistons route and sign quality free agents, but that parsons contract smh.
I know it's stupid, but I get this feeling Bosh wanted to troll Houston. Either that, or Bosh just used us to get the max in Miami, knowing that after Lebron leaves Riley would be desperate.
The same family member that has worked for the Rockets for years. Her understanding was he would sign it tonight.
Someone's mad: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Chris Bosh with a tremendous contract for a guy who put up a scoreless Game 7 13 months ago.</p>— Brian Mahoney (@briancmahoney) <a href="https://twitter.com/briancmahoney/statuses/487723414179020800">July 11, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Why trade Asik with no agreements either? Could've waited and flipped ASik for future 1st if needed (did they like brazilian KD that much???). They still could've brought the same team back from last year with a less disgruntled asik, and then ship lin/asik midseason for assets or an established player. now they lost the trade assets for........the ability to pay PArsons 15 mill a year?
Lol, yup. Morey was absolutely clowned. Other than having harden fall into his lap which landed Howard, has had a 9:1 miss to hit ratio.

He cared a lot less about his wife staying in Miami back when the Heat offered $12-15mil/yr on the table. Now it's about family again when it's a max offer? Please. It's clearly money all along. Which doesn't even make sense, given that the salary cap is about to explode and the Rockets can easily offer him an extension on the back end to make up for the 5th year.
