If Nene or Kaman is out of our reach lets move away from centres (as there isn't much on the market as stated earlier in the thread) take a look at O.J Mayo's numbers, especially his rookie year. What makes the fact in Daryl actually landing Mayo is that his trade value is extremely low and a change of scenery is exactly what O.J needs. He has the potential to blow up into a stud. Considering our greatest need is defense in the middle surely we have to go after someone like Perkins. I think he is more likely to leave the Celtics than many think. If I was in his shoes I would be thinking the chance of more championships is starting to become beyond Boston with an aging line-up...
I really like his skill set I wish we could get him and give him some good coaching. Have him work with Dream for 3 days and thats all he needs he'll be cold.

They are young and cheap... Why would they trade them? No way... I think it's more probable that a C is coming from a team that needs money, LA needs money to resign DeAndre Jordan so we maybe will get Kaman, Portland maybe need to dump salary depending on Oden / Roy situation and we can get Camby, and with the situation in Utah maybe Al Jefferson will be available! With Jefferson / Kaman I will be very happy, with Camby we just postpone things a year or two!
