I absolutely loved seeing "defensive-stopper" Bruce Bowen try to defend Kobe Bryant on that one spin-move jumper. Good going, Bruce, you almost got within 6 or 7 feet of him on that shot, he was probably pissing his pants. :D

Haha...That spin move was ridiculous. I didn't really know how bad he juked him until they showed the overhead view...Kobe spun at one elbow, and ended up at the other elbow, and I think Bruce was over sitting next to Jack Nicholson.

It's startling how when the Spurs lose there is a conspiracy but when they win the officiating is pretty good. LOL

I bet you ONE BILLION DOLLARS the kings don't lose in 4!!!!!

...especially since the series is 1-1, and, well, it's impossible to sweep a team if said team already one a game. Believe me, I've tried...doesn't work. :(

Anyone else find it interesting that Kobe's screw up is getting no pub at all? If that had been anyone else, you just know ESPN would be having a field day with it. I mean look how much attention the offensive goal tending call in Utah got and the shot probably wasn't falling anyway. Guess you can't upset your new poster boy.

Maybe because Kobe is the main reason the Lakers nearly stole Game 2. Bryant was just awesome in the 2nd half, schooling a very good defender/ karate expert in Bowen.

For someone who's supposedly the best Center Ever, Shaq has yet to show up this series. Without DRob he should be feasting, but he's being outboarded in the clutch by 6'5" Malik Rose and pushed off the block and out of position by Mark Bryant. He is playing great D on Duncan (I have no idea why the Lakers continue to double Duncan when he seems so afraid of Shaq, esp in the 4th Q) but he should be killing Bryant and Rose inside and he's not.

Kobe's the best guard in the NBA. I don't know why people hate on him so much.

It is a little bit because of his arrogance, and a lot because of their jealosy.

Game 3 will finally be a game both teams feel they need to win and I expect it to be a better game than the 1st two (in execution terms at least). I expect Kobe will play very well, I am not sure about Shaq though--he has not looked himself at all and doesn't appear to have much fire right now.

I don't like Kobe because he is always smacking gum with his mouth open. It makes me sick. Also, he is such a Jordan wannabe its sickening. However, lately he hasn't been smacking that gum as much and I seem to like him more. Go figure.

I dont think Kobe choked at all, he brought his team back and almost won. I am not a Kobe fan, but some of the reasons people are giving for not liking the guy are pretty funny.

That rebound was all about desire. Friggin incredible play...

The Lakers haven't even had a good game yet and they're up 3-1.

man, if i was a spurs fan right now, i'd most definitely be locking up all sharp objects. But then again, if i was a spurs fan, I'd have to kill myself anyway.

Have you EVER seen a team perform WORSE down the stretch? Well, worse than the spurs did in the other games? That was PAINFUL! And all you kobe haters...yeah, i know, he sucked through three quarters again, but tell that to the spurs fans who had to see him gut their team in the fourth quarter AGAIN. He stepped up once more when his team needed him. I still don't know for sure if he can carry a team on his own, without shaq. But i certainly wouldn't bet against him.

    Mmmmmmmm....UNBEEVABLE.

Tim D---whatta sad waste of talent.

He's a Pippen...not a leader. I'm sure he'll head for Orlando now...because he's got to realize that he's never going to get it done on his own.

They have NO leaders. If they were smart, they wouldn't be try to be so loyal----they'd trade D-Rob and/or Malik for someone who can get up and go get their own shot. Someone who wants it. I think the Lakers have abundantly proved that depth is no big deal unless your best two are really big ballers.

The only balls the Spurs are familiar with are Spalding.
