Everytime I scan the thread titles, this "chocolate fudge" thread seems to make me do a double take. Then I remember, oh yea, he's seriously talking about chocolate fudge.

I'm not much of a fudge fan, sorry. But maybe I could get some as a gift for others.

emoreland, when you sell food like this are you required to put nutrional information on the packages? How do you calculate nutrional info such as calories, fat, etc.

I spoke to the health department here and they told me that the only requirement is that I have the ingredients written somewhere on the package...which I have done. I hope you will try some of it...everyone so far has really enjoyed it...I also want to thank everyone who has tried it and has given it rave reviews.

I have decided to match anyone who gives a 1.00 donation with 1.00 of my own since no one has asked me to add the 2.00 to their order LOL. I hope this generates more interest in the TipJar.

Thanks again guys for all of the support!

Guys, I have been working on a whole new website and I hope you guys will love it. Its only an outline; there is plenty of work to be done but I wanted to run this by everyone.....just to get an idea. I hope when its finished, you will remember it and think "fudge"

Any suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated. Please remember that there is alot of work to do still.

That picture in the top right just seals the deal for me, I'm gonna order 3 lbs in a couple weeks for me and my buds. Well, for me at least.

Actually I agree with adeelsiddiqui. I was trying to talk my wife into buying some, and she wants to see more pictures of the fudge. I guess it's aestetics.

    :)

Smeggy you should be getting your TexasFudge in the next day or two. I remade the order to guarantee its freshness.

On a sidenote...never go by the rates on www.usps.com

They told me it was gonna 9.00 to South Australia 4-6 days for up to 5lbs. I thought i was safe considering your package was only 3 plus the weight of the containers. It was 19.00. Anyway...I got a call from the post office saying that my package had been severely damaged and that i needed to come up there. I did and went home to start remaking the chocolate. I take it back up there and they say that I owe them another 19.00 for shipping...I had to fight with them just to clear that up since they damaged the package, not me.

Smeggy I hope the TexasFudge is to your liking...I really appreciate your business and your patience. I hope you find the Texas-shaped containers a unique item and maybe even an interesting conversation piece.

So to sum things up LOL dont trust the USPS website :(

Harrisment...Your package was shipped to you as well so you shoulcget it either today or tomorrow. I realy appreciate your business and your support. I will write you down for the donation to the Clutch TipJar. Peanut Butter has been my best seller...people who dont even like pb are telling me how great it is.

To keep everyone up to date...I am going to be working in conjunction with a local bakery here in Midland owned by my aunt so that I will be compliant with the Health Department. Laws prohibit cooking from my home.

Thanks to everyone who has ordered so far...I can't thank you enough for all of the support and how this has taken off. This started out as a Christmas gift-giving idea and has turned into a full-time business. Its funny how things work out.

Smeggy.....did you taste the other flavors? I am so happy that you loved it. Is it honestly the best youve ever tasted?

I also wanted to ask....to see if the fudge stayed in the container and if the texas containers were still in good shape?

I would appreciate all the feedback that you can give me. I also wanted to mention that you can wash the texas-shaped containers to use them again...although im not sure if its dish-washer safe. I want to thank you so much for everything and I hope you will try more flavors soon or maybe more of the same. Thank you and I cant tell you how much I appreciate your business. Thanks again Smeggy!

Emore - My order arrived on Saturday....that is some really good stuff. I finished it off last night. It was so hot here though that the fudge had completely melted, but I stuck it in the fridge for a few hours and it was fine. I'm normally not a big fan of fudge, but that is some good stuff you got there.
