Stop it bro. First off, they're not American so we won't blindy cheer for them. Second, the HW division hasn't been relevant in the US since Mike Tyson was around. And the Ks are not exactly exciting fighters. Maybe it's because of the weak opposition but their fights aren't mind blowing. If you're not fun to watch in the ring, casual fans don't care.

Also, the reason why HBO doesn't pick up their fights is because they don't draw good numbers. They have to pay big for the rights to air it and the return just isnt good enough. They rather have guys like Chavez or Canelo who are huge draws.

Seriously, it's pretty straight forward why they aren't big in America (but big in Hayden P that's for sure). If they were American, it would be a whole different story.

Man be quiet. Did I say I knew for sure why he was there?
I'm pretty sure most Brits didn't even know why the f#ck he was there so sue me.
If that's what you take issue with then I don't know what to tell you. Either way would it have been a surprise to hear it was a stunt?
The heavyweight division needs the publicity but I'm sure we can all agree that this kind of publicity is not what it needed.

Haye could have killed Chisora punching him with that bottle -- Haye is lucky a chunk of glass didn't slice that dude's neck open.

You pick an era and I'll put my money on the K brothers against any of those pugilists.

Go ahead, pick an era and name your fighters and we'll match them up against the K brothers!

You are seriously calling the Klitschko brothers the two greatest heavyweights in boxing????

I'll give you a chance to retract that. Honest mistake I'm sure. You probably didn't know what you were writing.

You can't really compare old heavyweights with the super-heavy weights of today. I think they would walk through a lot of the greats simply because they are so much larger -- and they both really are skilled fighters that have become much better with age/ experience.

I'm still waiting for you to drop some names since you obviously not a Klitschko lover. That's ok but don't put them down just because of whatever bias you have against them.

I'll refer you to what my "buddy" ipaman basically inferred I should not do and that is assume.
I never said a word about hating the Klitschko's or not being a fan of them. I recall writing that I appreciate what they bring to the boxing ring. Plain and simple. Doesn't automatically mean hater.

So Lennox in his prime, Vitali in his prime, I'm guessing you'd go Klitschko?

I'm guessing you'd take both of them over Holmes and Foreman?

Lennox is a super-heavy -- in his prime he could beat either of the brothers grimm -- but Tyson in his prime couldn't beat a klitschko unless he landed a home run punch. Tyson always sucked against big tall fighters. All the greats at their peaks would give up at least 30-40 pounds. There should be a super-HW division -- on fight nights the brothers are hitting about 255-265 pounds.

I used Tyson as an example because I think he could beat any heavyweight prior to his reign.

That's why I mentioned Lennox not Tyson.
Tyson would have a tough time vs the Klitschko's imo. Even young Iron Mike.

No problem bro, I didn't call you a hater, just that you think it's out of the question, they don't belong in the elite group of fighters that would be considered GOAT.

If Vitali did not suffer that horrifying gash over his left eye, there was no question he would of whup Lewis. The fact that Lennox chose to retire rather than face Vitali again spoke volume. I'll give you that Lewis was at the end of his career and Vitali was in his prime. I would love to see both of them in their primes, I would still pick Vitali over Lennox.

Holmes does not have the size or power to deal with the brothers, he was an underrated champion for sure but the K brothers are at another level.

Foreman(my all time favorite) however;has the goods to deal with the brothers. I believe he is the only one in the old timer list that I mentioned actually has a chance against the brothers. I believe Foreman is a toss up again Wlad. Vitali is another different animal entirely, he would have beaten Foreman simply because of all the attributes that made him such a great fighter: size, strength, speed, heart, chin, but most of all Vitali is a natural born fighter, bred to inflict pains on others. Wlad is not like Vitali, he only enjoys the fighting game later on when he grows into that role. Wlad had said many times that he took up boxing to be just like Vitaly.

All the other fighters past or present simply don't stand a chance. KingCheetah made a real good observation about Tyson. A lot of people are enamored with Tyson and his knock outs.

When you talk about Tyson, you have to know about the 2 Tysons. The studious, defensive minded Cus D'amato's protege Tyson with good head movements and Kevin Rooney as his trainer . The manic depressive Don King's puppet Tyson who did not give a damn about training or fighting.

The first Tyson as good as he was and with dynamites in both hands still would fall short before the brothers. Tyson does not have the reach to deal with those giants and the brothers both have one single weapon to neutralize Tyson: the best jab in the business. You saw how Lennox used his jab to break down Tyson.
