They want Morey fired over a single tweet.

While harboring bigotry to 90% of the NBA players’ racial identities

Sounds like they want to have their cake and eat it too

It is prolly minority because tons of commentators call him the King every time on Tencent. Must be some idiot.

LBJ is the most revered athlete in China in the last decade, not Curry, not Harden or Kobe.

To them it's no different to call a player a gorilla as to calling one a deer if they're a great runner etc...you are attaching a significance to it that isn't there.

    As for the rest

I don't care about their money

They can watch their shitty basketball league

In the end, the NBA is a product and if they don't want to watch it they don't have to

The NBA is under no obligation to be a whore

They can walk away with their trite apology and things will eventually find a new equilibrium.

There are plenty of markets for basketball. It's a global game.

The Rockets will be fine with or without Chinese money.

lol at them as far as I'm concerned

And guess what? I only watch Fox News and OANN to see how see how ridiculous they are. Trump wishes he could become Xi in America but hopefully separation of powers never allows it. I have the right to say FDT and not face real consequence.

I think this is a perfect example of the cultural differences. .
Morey's tweet is fine in western world, but not so in China.
Chinese nba tv comment is fine in China, but not so in western world.
Whether or not it is "right", is a different story.

The guy who said this is not no name minority.

He is the Mike Breen / Marv Albert for Tencent and he said it on a live broadcast of the Cavs game.

Its not really about right or wrong.

But will you give a fork on how people in other countries will talk sh't about the US and even make up fake sh't everyday about you?

You mostly don't, because you really don't give a sh't as it is the way it should be.

For those people yelling about "its China's internal matters so shut the fork up", thats a double standard also, you can get more US news from the Chinese CCTV station everyday even more than our channel 02/11/13, especially when sh't happens.

Then you caught him, it is novelty for me, Tencent is the only provider of games.

Thing is protests have been taking place the last ten years, where were you all back then?

    No twitter to rally?

A cartoon character's name does not prove that something is not offensive. Its ok that I called that guy Jughead, its not an insult he is just like that dumb guy in Riverdale. I called her porky because she was like the cartoon pig, not an insult. Since China decided to call a grown black man Gorilla without consulting him it should not be an insult? There are many big strong animals, I wonder why Gorilla was chosen for Ewing and not Bull, Dragon or Tiger?
But show proof of Yao Ming being called Gorilla by this guy and I will believe it....

They don't call the Asian players or white players "Gorilla" though...

The western world didn't harass and demand a public written apology and the firing of the announcer or they would blackmail and cease all relations.

If you go around demanding other countries to conform to your own standards you also have to do the same to others.

It's pure hypocrisy simple as that.

The Chinese have lent out so much money, they practically own the U.S. If China called in all California’s debt, it would be Chinese territory by now. Tillman gets everything from China, even his food.
