What's the escalator look like, where she fell in? Would the bottom of the escalator actually come in contact with her and pull her down? Seems like didn't just fall from fatigue.
Apparently the escalator had been worked on recently but the workmen forgot to screw the metal plate back in. China trying their hardest to out do India.

That explanation is wrong. The protesters had her in a clear display case, not a coffin. The mall hires dudes to break the display case, put her in the yellow coffin and remove her.
I'm sure it's illegal in China to display a corpse at a mall. It's not their property and it's a health hazard.
Yeah. Not planning on living in China anytime soon. There has to be a better way to handle the situation than how it was.
