What else can the Grizzly fans cheer on? How pathetic it is to have to go to another team's fan site to rave about how good their players are. Don't they have their own fan site to do that?

Yeah, good point. Hopefully Yao is slowly "deprograming" himself from what he's supposedly been taught, i.e., to be more passive and that every man on the team is interchangable or equal in within the system. Maybe with Steve gone, Yao will take on more of a leadership role and be more aggresive (which is not a knock on Steve).

But yeah, he does need to show more "fire" on the court, not just in spurts as we've seen him do, but consistently. If he does progress in this area, the sky's the limit for the Rockets.

Usually NBA big man don't act in the sissy way Yao did in that play.
Gasol got the offensive rebound and dunked the ball in Yao's face.2 points and the foul.NBA bigmen usually foul harder.
    Gasol just humilliated Yao.
By the way,I am not talking about the play that fouled out Yao.

LOL, you're talking about Yao being a sissy and using Pau as an example? HAHA. Now THATS funny. Pau has been the post child for sissy players in the NBA for awhile. 1 dunk doesn't make someone dominant, but I guess you're so use to seeing Pau get dunked on instead of the other way around you just had to release all that frustration. Pathetic.

    Using Pau as an example?
Read it again, dude.I didn't use Pau as an example for nothing.
And yes,Yao was a sissy IN THAY PLAY.
Also,I would bet Yao has been dunked way more times than Gasol in his NBA career, but that's another issue.

No, you just don't point fingers to your teammates in front of the public no matter what. The sad part is that he was billed as a superstar, the focus of the team, and his play didn't live up to that standard. Yes, he did say he wasn't happy about his own play, but he put the most blame on his teammates.

Can you image what would have happened if he did the same thing last season with the Rockets?

Yao must get back when we play Memphis, he must take it personally and burn them.

And this is why Memphis will be good again. Gasol is coming into stardom and he has swagger and confidence.

Why don't you read your own posts, dude...

    Pau just humilliated Yao.

Make sure to come back during the season and I'll show you a TON of 'sissy' plays Gashole shows us in the NBA.

Nice, a realmadridfan without a clue. I guess when you're attached to a player's jock you don't see anyone else play. Good job.

Yes,it is much better losing 4-1 than losing 4-0.Big deal.
Anyway,Gasol will win some NBA playoffs game during his career, but there is one thing Yao will not be able to win:ROY.
I understand you can't accept Gasol owned the next Kareem Abdul Jabbar yesterday.
You can't believe how a sissy weak ass Euro beat the next all time great center.Sorry for you.

Now you must be thinking all the centers dunked by Yao should retire.

    Why should I think it?
I haven't say Yao should retire.I haven't say Yao is not a good player. In fact,I think Yao is a great player.
All I said is he got owned by Gasol in yesterday's game. That FACT seems to angry some of you.It is your problem, not mine.

Yep,winning playoff games playing in a team with Grant Long or Tony Massemburg is very easy.
The Grizzlies had been a force for the last 10 years. How can Gasol not have winning any playoff game in 3 years?

You're right, the grizzles can't be a force with guys like Gashole, Long, and 'Massemburg' on the team. They're all losers and deserve each other.

But hey, he's a ROY(in one of the weakest crops of rookies EVER), that's got to mean something even if it isn't victories...

But hey,Yao has won one playoff game.
He could retire right now and that playoff win would give him a spot in the Hall of Fame.
