my·o·pi·a n. A visual defect in which distant objects appear blurred because their images are focused in front of the retina rather than on it; nearsightedness. Also called short sight. Thanks Blatz, it was more impressive than I thought!
Um, no one said it was inappropriate for you to refer to Yao as Chinese. Country of origin is perfectly acceptable.
I didn't second guess anything other than my patience of getting involved in a thread where you are participating. Your act has grown TIRESOME.
It depends on who's side you're on. What's funny is Trader_Jorge is going through the thread with a fine-toothed comb looking for something to support his "argument", all to no avail. I'm headed out to hit some balls, my work is done here.
Duh. Anytime Another Brother posts, Trader_Jorge feels compelled to try to mark him as a hypocrite. Check the last few posts in this thread.
I find it a little tiresome also when someone apparently thinks a little fun poster popularity contest he happened to do well in needs to be quoted every time there is an argument. No offense, but I have seen it at least three times now and it is getting boring. Oh, and if I have not said it yet... Congratulations that you won .
Oh really, well you must have forgotten that you posted this: Kinda similar to how you forgot that you did this: To refresh your memory, you said it here: Funny how some people try to argue that they didn't do things, even when they themselves posted the evidence against themselves! OUCH
I think Another Brother is a nice and funny guy. I also like Trader Jorge's posts. I also like when these two are arguing. It's kind of like watching an old couple that has been married for 50 years argue .
de·lu·sion The state of being deluded. A false belief or opinion: labored under the delusion that success was at hand. Psychiatry. A false belief strongly held in spite of invalidating evidence, especially as a symptom of mental illness: delusions of persecution. CRACKING UP
I couldn't care less if you find it boring, honestly. Your act lately has been to criticize posters for how they post...I find that even more boring. I also couldn't care less if I won the contest or not. In any round, had I been beaten, it would've been to an extremely worthy opponent. I just find it amusing that Trader_Jorge, the poster who receives numerous e-mails telling him to keep fighting the good fight, couldn't even beat one of his nemesis. That's hilarious actually. Not to mention his desparate, Dean-like angry plea against me in the finals thread. If anything people saw that and voted for me over the more worthy MadMax. I guess I owe him thanks.
Wow! Seven whole PAGES on this non-topic topic! I heard this last night and was bent over in laughter - I equate this to the infamous Howard Cosell "Look at that little monkey" remark about Joe Morris on MNF. In all fairness, as a native Houstonian from the proud suburb of Acres Homes TX, I am forced to admit that I have been called far worse things to my face. Let it go folks...
I couldn't care less if you couldn't care less...uh, what's the point . Also, if you couldn't care less that you won, then why do you seem to bring it up in every other post? Hmmmmm....
For one thing, exaggerate much? For another, if you look closely, I don't bring up the fact that I won, I bring up the fact that he lost.
Yeah, might have been a slight exaggeration. Anyway, you completely deleted the post where you did bring it up, so someone who reads this thread now might not even know what I am referring to.
