international is different. if you judge best players by international play, carmelo has been the best player the past 3 years. he's nowhere close to being a top 10 player in the NBA, esp. with his performance last yr.

and has anyone notice, including the last month of the reg. season, boozer has played so average then to the playoffs and even now? falling back to earth? :D

Well last season I always see him and Deke been the first off the bench to cheer for our players.

I think you see him cheering despite a 35pt loss is because he probably knew they couldn't beat the US. While in the NBA you have to think they have a chance to beat any team.

If Tracy was a better player when it counts he wouldn't have to have someone to defer too.

Really, I mean Yao is the one who CONSISTENTLY cheers on his teammates from the bench. TMac1 let it go dude. In an NBA game game everyone would think you are crazy to be cheering like Yao did, with your team behind by 30 points. Olympics is just as much about finishing then its about winning.

i think 12 pts and 9 rebounds with 1 assists. he actually played very well and looked fairly mobile, esp. when he faked out bosh. just need more rhythm with his shots. his team just had no chance. but yao did his part. he fouled hard several times too.

Watch LBJ and Kobe play and you'll one is unslfishh(LBJ) .

One is selfish ball hogging cancer ( kobe bryant). he's own laker teammates hate him. lebron however is a great teammate. as you saw, lbj unlike kobe knows when to pick and choose. kobegoes -7 from beyond the pt line. yet lbj attacks the rim. it's not just me, most people are seeing that LBJ is about to take the mantel of the best player in the league.

The Chinese, were shooting very well, but ahd to work too hard to get those shoots.

To better take advantage of there shooting it was obvious they need to utilise Yao in the post more, instead of having him run around the top of the key setting screens.

The Europeans teams will not be so stupid with there gameplan.

WTF is wrong with you? why do you (yao-only-fans) have to starting bashing tracy once someone says anything close to negative about you're idol yao.

Even though, Yao is not 100% and somewhat more injury prone.

I still don't see how Dwight Howard is a better center than he is.

When you put them on the court at same time, Yao look like a better player.

Maybe not as athletically gifted, but athleticism is not everything.
