Solid first quarter effort by China but don't expect this game to be close. It's only a matter of time before the floodgates open. Guard play will be the difference. There really aren't enough adjectives to describe just how bad China's guard play is compared to Team USA's.
Some very interesting calls there and that's coming from a neutral supporter. I can't understand China having an inside presence like Yao and not using him.
china is playing good defense, but unfortunately because of such poor guard play they haven't gotten anything going on offense. im amazed this game is as close as it is.
You would have thought Yi would have learnt something after a year in the NBA. If the guy is in the NBA in 5 years time it's because of the money the franchise makes from the China link.
I've only been watching the game for 2 minutes. NBC has better 2 minute coverage than ABC has over 5 year coverage. The music is better. The camerawork is better. The focus is greater. The work is more inspired.
Alright China, Everybody is fatigued and you can't hit three's forever. Time to feed Yao. If whoever is coaching them cannot see this, he's blind as a bat. BTW, LeBron just pinned a shot off the backboard with two hands. It's been a while since i've seen that happen.
