    well I mean... 穆鐵柱 mu tie zhu was just big... Yao actually knows how to play basketball.

    i always thought Mu was like 8 feet tall but 228... that's only an inch taller than Yao.

    But yeah... haha... funny you mention him because I read an article about it the other day. That was an early golden age of Chinese basketball... haha.

    He was not just big, he was very strong as well. I still remember the games between Ba-Yi and a NBA team (cannot remember the name). That was after Ba-Yi defeated a NCAA all-star team twice, so that got the pro's attention, arranged that visit. That team couldn't do much inside because of Mu, he basically knocked anyone who dared to go inside. It was very funny.

    Oh, Ba-Yi lost both games, but was in the game both times.

    BTW, Mu was the son of a farmer, who didn't see a basketball until he was 16(?). So you cannot compare him to Yao who came from a basetball family.

    definitely... as i said... that was a golden age. and mu was/is a hero.
