Like I said, the closer three point line is a major factor. It's WAY easier to pull up from 20 ft than from 23 ft. Watching this game, it's apparent that the international game is a much, much different game than the NBA game. From the way the pick and roll has to be defended to the fouling situation, it's quite a change. I like the NBA game way more as a result.

They sure do. But none of FIBA refs have officiated figure like Yao's height and agility. Human instinct always root for the smaller guy when two collide. Foul calling should be ojective, but human ref has to be subjective in interpreting the foul situation. I am all robots calling the game.
I'm not too sure about that. Without Yao, they only beat Japan by 5 in a warm-up game not too long ago.
When? China didnt play any warm-up game with Japan this year as I know. On the record, China is the dream team against Japan.
