Yao should feel pround of his effort against LTV. 29-10 against swarming defense......that tells you something. Only if Du/Zhu can hit 50% of the wide open 3s.......
We gotta give it to CNT though, they fought hard and Yao has just blown me away. I cant wait till the season starts. If it wasnt for LVT 3's, this game would be alot closer.
are these CNT guards crap or what?? they can't hit any outside shots, jumpers, and constantly commit turnovers. i'd be pissed if I was yao too.
I guess the Chinese strategy of chucking 3's and hoping they go in FAILED yet again. Maybe Del got too used to watching Dirk and Nash?
Huge effort from yao , dominated the paint in the fourth. Solid game for CNT overall, score could be close if not for the stupid plays in the last minute.
lol everything i said should happen, did but still lost haha. Yeah shouldn't have been a 20 point game. Yao played good, and despite his 29pts with 12 fts, he still should have had the ball more. I said li nan better show up; he did and good for him. At least lithuania had less than 100points.
Does anyone agree with Yao that they should call the opponent a foul when he faked out that 3 pointer?
I think that he will get the calls 9 out of 10 times in the NBA. I really love the board work and the offensive moves against triple team that Yao showed in this game. To me, this is actually the best game that Yao has played at the Olympics. If he can play with 80% of that kind of passion for the Rockets, he will be a top 3 player in the league this year.
The CNT no. 8 zhu cannot stick with LTV no. 6. Damn that no. 6 made more 3s than anyone else combined on the court. He's the key during the 2nd quarter when LTV took more than 15 points lead.
