Isn't a bit insulting for China's pro team to face off against a collegial team?

waiting around for some self-righteous obnoxious douche to post a comment on an internet forum is no way to go through life.

wtf is that guy in the shorts and polo shirt kicking the GT player? He's not even a player. If that is a coach that is pretty embarssing.

hard to say who started the fight and what led up to it but the chinese players certainly didnt help and escalated by throwing wild punches and chairs.

In the beginning of the video it seems like it was the diving over the player for the loose ball. The fight seems to break out after the GT player recovered the ball and passed it out. I can't really tell what happened with that pass, but it's possible that he hit the player as he was passing out.

RUSH LIMBAUGH: You just gotta be who you are, and I think it's time to get rid of this whole National Basketball Association. Call it the TBA, the Thug Basketball Association, and stop calling them teams. Call 'em gangs. You have the Laker Gang, you have the Heat Gang, you have a Timberwolf Gang [distortions of official team names], and let 'em strap up out there, and let 'em market their CDs. Instead of selling concessions, sell CDs out there at the concession stand. All the players get involved in this, and if a fight breaks out, hey, it's what happens! It's what happens with gangs, and if a cop gets bloodied, you know, that's a bonus for the gang member that pulls that off, and let the fans, you know, go in knowingly. They're going in to watch the Crips and the Bloods out there wherever the neighborhood is where the arena happens to be, and be who you are.

The Chinese dude just clocked him in the face for no reason?
Unless there was an unintentional elbow or something prior...

Just saw the video on another site and very sad reflection on Chinese basketball to have two fights break out in the last few days against US college teams. Its hard to tell who started this one but the CBA should hand down some suspensions for the players leaving the bench. GT should do the same.

They are probably fighting because Yao got the reputation of being soft in the US so these chinese are trying to make a statement.

well the gtown player clearly threw a punch after he got fouled on the pass...but that foul may have been over the top, can't really tell.

Have to give most of the blame here to the chinese players as more of them seemed to go straight to fighting, especially that initial group that crowded the gtown player who was on the floor. No need to stomp on him like that over a punch that missed it's mark. Then they were throwing tables/chairs...SMH.
