Wish they could just play it tonight, so my anxiety would be over, one way or another....

Lol Tilly isn't broke because he's broke, he's broke because he's a cheap ass.

Tilly is the 9th wealthiest owner in the league, and decided one of the GOAT rocket teams on the brink of a ring wasn't worth going into lux tax for. What a jackass.

And all of this means nothing in terms of people taking issue with extreme wealth inequality. Ultra wealthy people aren't required for sport teams to function. Rockets could be a public company for all I care, as long as Daryl's sweet ass is managing it.

    1) can’t let CP3 go anywhere he wants. According to basketball-reference.com

    CP3 ....shooting.....playoffs 2020 (vs Rockets):
    Rim..............................7-9 (.778)
    3 to < 10 ft.................9-17 (.529)
    10 to < 16 ft...............8-14 (.571)
    16 to < 3-pt...............13-24 (.542)
    3 pt............................13-37 (.351)
    https://www.basketball-reference.co...player_id=paulch01&year_id=2020&is_playoffs=1

So if it is true that they (CP3/ Thunder) are seeking Covington defensively on the perimeter.....I would favor
CP3 right side. Force him to drive left. At his age and lift, CP3 is looking more for a pull-up jump shot and
not so much layup at the rim (while defense is set up).

Look at CP3 shot chart vs us (Rockets in this series): excluding shots at rim; CP3 has only taken about 9 shots
and made 4 when talking about free throw-ish distance to left side of lane towards left side around 16 ft away.

Compare that with the right side of lane to FT-ish distance to approximately 16 ft out towards 3-pt line: 20 of 34.
CP3 can make shots to his left; but Covington needs to try to take away his favored right side drive. When
CP3 drives inside the FT-line, anticipate pull up jump shot......stay grounded to avoid CP3 pump fakes up and
unders. At 6’8” Covington should still be able to hopefully alter the 6’1” CP3 jump shot off the left side drive.
Stay close to CP3 right hip/ shooting hand without getting hip checked away for CP3 shot.

    2) Schroder: 11-39 from 3-pt line in series. .282 or 28%..........has not made a 3 from left side (below the break) in the series [left side if facing rim]. He has been successful at rim to 10 ft (22-40 for 55%). When looking at his shot
chart in our series, most of his damage is in that rim to < 10 ft range.

    3) Gallinari: tall and can shoot from all areas of the court. I would recommend keeping him a jump shooter.....try
to get a hand up on each of his shots. Contest without fouling.

    4) Shai G-Alexander: Same game plan. Form a wall near the FT line. Like the Greek-freak....length and athleticism
gives them an advantage on that drive, spin, layup. Wall it up.

Hopefully the Rockets can limit the production of CP3, Shai G-A and Schroder .......Gallinari becomes one man show
    on offense. Rockets move on.

Edited: I brought up a CP3 highlights video for 19/20. Noticed all or most of the drives to the right lane side.
Shot chart kinda looks that way too.

This is the beauty of sports. Victory is that much sweeter after some adversity.

D''Antonio putting rust on the Lakers. He is beyond us strategically.

This right on. They also need to make him work on the defensive end. He can easily guard eric gordon these days or westbrook. Right now Harden is the only offensive threat and that is easy for him to just park his butt where he knows they aren't passing the ball to because he knows our offense. Someone needs to make him work both ends of the court.

If rockets aren’t up by at least 20 in the 4th I am not watching. Anything 10 and below we will choke it away somehow.

Yes this, I was thinking the Rockets were rolling Jeff Green to the rim (instead of Pick-n-Pop) just fine the previous game.

Have Green bury CP3 under the rim on those dives.

CP3 guarding bigger players in the post was a concern of mine while he was a Rocket. Let’s revisit that.

Need to change the closing line up for 4th.

Replace Russ and EGo with House and Green.

Definition of insanity and all that.

Why is everyone trippin. Instead of a best of 7 it’s a best of 1. If you believe the rockets should’ve won the series no reason to doubt they win 7.

I don’t doubt rockets will bring it, hope the refs aren’t too blatant with their bias

They're gassed by the end. Chasing Shroeder is wearing us down. At this point let shroeder get his. He is not james harden. Dont let sga or paul or dort get going.
